Contemplate that appearances are without inherent existence, exemplified by the eight similes of illusion, then make aspirations, gently undo the lotus position, rise, and do whatever virtuous deeds one can, such as making tsa-tsas. In these six sessions, strive to accumulate the two accumulations. When it is time to sleep, meditate on emptiness and fall asleep in that state. Then, in the final session, think of awakening oneself with the mind of enlightenment arising from loving-kindness and compassion. This is generating the ultimate mind of enlightenment. Food should be divided into four portions. The master Nagarjuna also said: The ultimate mind of enlightenment is to be generated by the power of meditating on a bodhisattva who practices the means of the secret mantra path. Thus, if one strives with respect, for a long time, and without interruption, compassion for sentient beings will also arise spontaneously. The master Nagarjuna said: Thus, if yogis meditate on this emptiness, the mind will be delighted in benefiting others, there is no doubt about this change. Again, he said: If the meaning of originally unborn is realized from the depths of the mind, compassion will naturally arise for those who are sinking in the mud of samsara. Thus, when that yogi is inwardly absorbed in samadhi, he meditates on the ultimate mind of enlightenment, and when he arises from that, he meditates on the conventional mind of enlightenment, thereby stabilizing the two minds of enlightenment, which have emptiness and great compassion as their essence. From the Manifest Enlightenment of Vairocana: Enlightenment is the nature of space, it is the abandonment of all conceptualizations. And from the Perfection of Wisdom Collection: There is not even a particle of dharma to be obtained. Do not grasp enlightenment as a real thing and become arrogant. This should be taught to the first practitioner. And from the Great Mother, the Hundred Thousand: I have not obtained anything whatsoever, but only in this way have I become fully enlightened at the heart of enlightenment. Also from the Holy Dharma Collection: What is a bodhisattva who is content with little? It is one who does not desire enlightenment. What is contentment? It is one who is not particularly attached to the mind of enlightenment. And many other precious sutras,

This meaning is explained in many tantras of secret mantra. The Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra says: "Free from all things, aggregates, elements, and sense bases, abandoning grasping and being grasped, contemplating equality in the selflessness of phenomena, one's own mind is primordially unborn, it is the very essence of emptiness." Also, the Noble Eight Thousand Stanza Prajnaparamita Sutra says: "Shariputra, whatever is not mind is no-mind. Whatever is no-mind is the mind's naturally luminous nature." The Noble Nagarjuna also said: "The mind is not seen by all Buddhas, not unseen, it is not seen. How can one see the nature of no-nature?" The Venerable Aryadeva also said: "In order to realize no-mind with the mind, when should one practice? At that time, the mind will not be seen." Also, the Noble Sutra of the Collection of Righteousness says: "Sons of the gods, furthermore, clinging to the mind of enlightenment is also the work of demons. Not knowing the mind as illusion, but grasping the mind as real, whoever generates the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment, I confess all of that." Having been accustomed to the Great Vehicle for countless previous lives, having well-trained lineage, those with sharp faculties mostly generate the conventional bodhicitta as the cause for generating the ultimate bodhicitta. Because they possess emptiness and great compassion, they abide in emptiness that possesses all kinds of excellence. Considering this meaning, the teacher Nagarjuna said: "I and the aggregates, etc., are not obscured by the discrimination of consciousness. The Buddhas consider the mind of enlightenment to be the nature of emptiness." So, how should it be? In the conventional sense, one should generate the mind of enlightenment like an illusory person and an emanation. As it is said in the Noble Sutra Requested by the Naga King Sagara: "Naga King, with one dharma, bodhisattvas quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. What is that one dharma? It is the mind of enlightenment that does not abandon all sentient beings." Therefore, it is necessary to generate that bodhicitta. Mind
