There is no other way to enter quickly. It is also stated in the Sutras that in this way, the mind stream will be gradually cleansed like removing dirt. It is also stated in the Lankavatara Sutra and the Ten Bhumi Sutra, etc., that when a Bodhisattva abides in Suchness, it is the time of entering the first Bhumi. From then on, gradually purify the higher Bhumis and then enter the Tathagata Bhumi. Therefore, there is no other gate to enter the city of the Buddha immediately except through the Bhumis and Paramitas. The Blessed One has not said this in any of the Sutras, etc. If it is said that since meditation itself includes the six Paramitas, practicing meditation is equivalent to practicing all the Paramitas, so there is no need to practice generosity and other Paramitas separately, this is not right. If this were the case, then the six Paramitas are also included in the mandala of the Buddha image made of cow dung, so only the mandala needs to be made, and there is no need to practice meditation, etc. In the cessation of perception of the Hearers, since all signs do not arise, the six Paramitas will also be perfected in this way, and in this way, there will be no difference between Hearers and Bodhisattvas. In order to show that Bodhisattvas must perfect the six Paramitas at all times, the Blessed One said that each Paramita includes all Paramitas, but did not say that only one Paramita needs to be practiced. As stated in the Holy Sutra of the Increase of the Door of All Dharmas: Maitreya, the perfect practice of the six Paramitas by Bodhisattvas is for the sake of perfect Bodhi, but foolish people say, Bodhisattvas only need to study the Prajnaparamita, what is the use of the other Paramitas? They despise the other Paramitas. Maitreya, what do you think? Kashyapa

That one who became a king, was giving his own flesh for the sake of a pigeon, is that a corrupted wisdom? Maitreya said: Blessed One, it is not. The Blessed One said: Maitreya, when I was practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, did those roots of virtue that I accumulated, endowed with the six perfections, were they harmed? Maitreya said: Blessed One, it is not. The Blessed One said: Ajita, you also perfectly accomplished the perfection of giving for sixty eons. Likewise, if you perfectly accomplished the perfection of wisdom for sixty eons, then foolish people would say that enlightenment is achieved by only one method, namely, by the method of emptiness. By saying so, their conduct will become completely impure. If one relies solely on emptiness, one will fall into the extreme of nirvana like a Shravaka. Therefore, one should rely on wisdom accompanied by skillful means. Therefore, it is said in the Sutra Samuccaya by the venerable Nagarjuna: A Bodhisattva who lacks skillful means should not be overly diligent in the profound Dharma. Here, the teachings of the Holy Vimalakirti Sutra are also cited and explained as sources. However, that is not the teaching of the venerable Nagarjuna. It is not appropriate for a wise person with discernment to abandon what is in accordance with reason and scripture, and the words of the Blessed One, and to hold onto the words of other foolish beings. The Holy Ratnakuta Sutra also says: Based on all virtues such as giving, one should meditate on emptiness that possesses all kinds of excellence. Therefore, it is not just meditating on emptiness alone. The Holy Ratnakuta Sutra also says: O Kashyapa, for example, just as a king who is controlled by a minister accomplishes all that is needed, similarly, the wisdom of a Bodhisattva that is controlled by skillful means also accomplishes all the deeds of a Buddha. Therefore, if one relies solely on emptiness, one will enter into nirvana, thus the Blessed One.

In the Sutra of the Secret of the Tathagata, the Noble Earth Store, it is said: Do not be without a single-pointed mind, but also rely on skillful means. To explain this reason, son of good family, just as fire burns from causes, and if there are no causes, it will be extinguished. Similarly, the mind burns with objects of focus, and if there are no objects of focus, the mind will be pacified. Therefore, the Bodhisattva who is skilled in means, with the completely pure Perfection of Wisdom, also knows that the object of focus approaches pacification, and also does not make the object of focus on the root of virtue pacified. Nor does he cause the object of focus on afflictions to arise, but also abides in the object of focus of the perfections. He also individually contemplates the object of focus on emptiness, and also observes the object of focus on all sentient beings with great compassion. Son of good family, in this way, the Bodhisattva who is skilled in means, with the pure Perfection of Wisdom, obtains power over the object of focus. After extensively explaining this, he further said: In this way, whatever object of focus of the Bodhisattva, all of it is without non-abiding for the sake of manifestly accomplishing the omniscient wisdom. Whatever Bodhisattva completely dedicates all objects of focus to enlightenment, that is the skillful means of the Bodhisattva, seeing that all phenomena follow after enlightenment. Son of good family, just as in the realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system, there is nothing that is not enjoyed by sentient beings. Son of good family, similarly, the Bodhisattva who is skilled in means, whatever object of focus, does not see that it is not beneficial to enlightenment. These are extensively explained. Similarly, in the Infinite Life Sutra, the methods of practice of means and wisdom of the Bodhisattvas are also explained. Therefore, even if one is unable to exert effort in the accumulation of merit such as generosity, one should not teach others in this way. If one does so, one will create conflict between oneself and others. Therefore, the Bodhisattva must in any case correctly and individually examine, and must practice all accumulations of merit such as generosity, which is explained by reason and scripture. Therefore, one who possesses mindfulness.
