However, it is not permissible, because it completely cuts off other meanings, and so on. Saying "it is within the knowable" and so on, is to distinguish this. If someone thinks, why would omniscience become merely an examination? Answer: Because it does not completely cut off things that exist in other continuums. If asked, why not completely cut off? Answer: Because there is no grasper and grasped. If there are not these, because it has meaning, it cannot be determined to be merely consciousness, so it is said. If someone thinks, why not completely cut off things that exist in other continuums? Answer: Because wisdom with an image and another wisdom do not allow complete cutting off. It should be added: For things that exist in one's own continuum, it is also not permissible to completely cut off in the same way. Who cuts off? Wisdom. How to cut off? With an image and another. If according to the view that says there is no self-nature, then the fault of saying that omniscience does not exist, because everything does not exist, so there is no fault, so it is said. If someone asks: Why? Answer: Just as it is proclaimed, it completely cuts off as it appears. It should be added: When nothing is seen, it abides as it is. If asked: What to do? Answer: It is distinguishing the self-nature of things. If asked: After doing what? Answer: After understanding that "all dharmas are unborn" and so on are also the nature of examination. If someone thinks, how are these the nature of examination? Answer: Because it is by the nature of blocking the understanding of true arising. If someone asks: Why abide as it is? Answer: It should be added: Therefore, there will be no sign arising there, it will not arise. If someone asks: When will there be no sign arising? Answer: When the knower and the known, and the self are no longer manifest. Saying "self" is to show that it is a yogi. It should be added: Because the abiding is stable, it will not rise either. The word "also" is implicitly indicated. Abiding is samadhi. These are

It should be explained that: If this Bhagavan does not have characteristics, how can there be rising? Characteristics refer to: knowledge, the object of knowledge, and the characteristic of self. Why are there no characteristics? It is explained that: Bhagavan, for whom all the seeds of discrimination, along with their habitual tendencies, have been completely eradicated, his essence is just that. All the seeds of discrimination, along with their habitual tendencies, have been completely eradicated. Because that is how it is in itself. Habitual tendencies refer to the changes in the body and so on, caused by afflictions. This Bhagavan's samadhi is stable, so how can there be rising? It should also be explained in this way. And why is that? It is explained that: Having respectfully and without interruption cultivated well for countless eons, this shows that one has cultivated well and respectfully for a long time. Cultivating well and cultivating well without interruption shows the stability of samadhi. Entering what state? Realizing what state, does one become the basis of all qualities? All qualities refer to worldly and transworldly qualities. Becoming inconceivable, because it completely transcends the object of thought of all sentient beings. Becoming incomparable, because it is the unique basis of qualities. There are no sentient beings equal to the Tathagata. Becoming a place of reverence, because it is worthy of being offered to by all sentient beings. Becoming a guide, because it separates from the evil path and causes one to attain the good path. And, this word can be used in other sequences, some states are inconceivable. This praises the Dharmakaya from the perspective of the result. Now, in order to praise from the perspective of explanation, therefore it is said: Because it is the body of all dharmas. And so on. It is called Dharmakaya in three ways, this is explained by taking three words. If it were not so, one word would contain two meanings, and it should be said in four ways. Why is it called the body of all dharmas? Therefore it is said: All travelers. And so on. Therefore, in this way, the sound of the word body is the body.

It should be observed what is being said. Since the body is an accumulation, the Dharmakaya is called the accumulation of all dharmas, because the name of the effect is nominally established from the cause. If asked, why is it only the cause? The answer is: because it is the basis of all the qualities of the mundane and supramundane. Also, here, because the dharmas of the mundane and supramundane are proclaimed and spoken, it is the Dharmakaya. If the Dharmadhatu is realized, then all the dharmas of the mundane and supramundane gather as if summoned, as it says, "Knowing exhaustion, and also with outflows." Therefore, it is said. This shows that the word "Dharmakaya" is a word of action. If asked, isn't the body without an agent? How can it be said to be the basis of all inconceivable qualities? The answer is: the object of the basis is completely imputed, and it should be connected in this way. If asked, how to connect? The answer is: because of obtaining entry into it, it is the realization of entering the Dharmadhatu, and thereby obtaining the qualities of the mundane and supramundane. If asked, why is it the nature that abides in reason? The answer is: because that very nature possesses reason. Therefore, this shows that the word "Dharma" speaks of reason, and the word "kaya" speaks of nature. Having thus briefly shown the Dharmakaya, when beginning to speak of the Sambhogakaya, it says, "At that time, there is no conceptualization," and so on. "At that time" indicates the time of realizing the Dharmadhatu. If asked, if there is no conceptualization, how does the benefit of sentient beings arise? The answer is: it is said to be by the power of the past, which is synonymous with the power of past aspirations. If asked, when, how, where, and in what manner does the benefit of sentient beings arise? The answer is: it says, "Always," and so on. Therefore, this speaks of the arising of the benefit of sentient beings from all aspects, and also shows the perfection of benefiting others. Because the perfection of benefiting others is the main thing, it is spoken of first. The perfection of benefiting oneself is, the perfection of benefiting others.
