How can great afflictions not arise? Thus it is said. If one focuses on objects, then the arising of afflictions such as attachment is inevitable and cannot be prevented. How so? If that object remains in accordance with one's mind, then at that time it will be difficult to prevent attachment to it. If it is not in accordance with one's mind, then at that time it will be difficult to prevent anger and resentment towards it. However, even if both of those thoughts are abandoned, at that time it will be difficult to prevent the latent tendencies of ignorance towards the object that arises from clinging to one's own nature as real and from which equanimity arises. In the state of ordinary dwelling, focusing on the arising of the afflictive serpent, which is the nature of harm, in accordance with the arising of the suffering of cyclic existence, which is the universally arising latent tendency of ignorance, it is said: When one is in an ordinary state, one is also seized by the serpent of afflictions. Whenever delusion constantly arises, those ordinary beings whose sight is completely obscured by delusion will inevitably cling to the self-nature of objects created by the power of delusion. Because children perceive it as true, they are attached to reflections, just like that. Thus, the world is deluded, and therefore bound by the prison of objects. Just as children who do not understand worldly terms, who are naturally foolish in their consciousness, when focusing on reflections, grasp that there is a real object in it and become attached, doing all sorts of things and playing with it, so too, children who are accompanied by ignorance, born from the power of delusion, engage in real disputes about the existence of objects, and participate with body, speech, and mind. Because of clinging to this and that, attachment, anger, pride, and so on arise involuntarily, doing all sorts of things like children, and being bound in the prison of cyclic existence, those who do not understand the nature of cyclic existence appear as objects of compassion to non-Aryas. Those Aryas who possess the sharp eye of wisdom see the nature of things as they truly are. Objects are like reflections; if seen clearly with the eye of wisdom, those great beings will not be attached to the mud of objects. If there is no attachment, then to objects

Because of clinging to its self-nature and not entering, one will not cling to the mud of the world. The noble ones are like having wisdom about images, which is a synonym. Therefore, those with very childish minds, like children with images, undoubtedly. Children cling to form. The intermediate ones are without desire. Those who know the nature of form, The supreme wise ones are liberated. Among them, those with the characteristics of a child are children, that is, thinking wrongly, speaking wrongly, and doing wrong deeds. Among them, thinking wrongly means considering the body, which is impure, momentary, and perishable, to be pure and imperishable. So-called wrong speech is to praise the body, which is not worthy of praise, must always be benefited, and has the nature of suffering, with various collections of names, words, and letters. So-called doing wrong deeds is to create unwholesome ripening, deeds that become suffering. Therefore, those children cling to form as if it were impure. The intermediate ones are those who reproach impurity in the way it abides, and see that form accumulates hundreds of thousands of sufferings, thereby detaching from desire for form, attaining samadhi and formless attainments, those who far transcend the desire realm are the intermediate ones. Those who understand that form is also without self-nature, like an image, will undoubtedly be liberated from the discriminations of form, etc. Those who know the nature of form, The supreme wise ones are liberated. In order to show the distinction of that meaning, Will cling to extreme suffering, Liberation from that is without desire, Like an illusory person, peaceful, Seeing it will attain nirvana. It is said. Like an illusory person walking, peaceful and empty, after seeing nirvana, those who attain nirvana are those with supreme wisdom, those should also be known as Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bhagavan. The intermediate ones are worldly people, detached from the desire of desire. child
