There is no manifestation. Thus it is said. If the aggregates of the intermediate state are taken, is there no fault because it is accomplished by taking? Thus it is said, if the other party says, thus the aggregates of the intermediate state, by taking become, later wanting to produce the existence of taking, the Madhyamikas then say there is no existence, no taking, because there is no manifestation. Saying there is no such fault? Thus it is said. To this, some of the stable friends Buddhapalita and others say, completely abandoning, because following the faults as mentioned, that is not a reasonable answer. Thus it is said, because abandoning the aggregates of the intermediate state, when transferring to the later aggregates, it is only without taking, therefore, the faults such as the absence of manifestation follow in the same way, the other party's words are not a reasonable answer, the stable friends Buddhapalita and others say so. That is not reasonable, because in just one moment abandoning the former and later existence, and taking. Thus it is said that the commentator refutes the explanation of the stable friends Buddhapalita and others as unreasonable, why is it unreasonable? Thus there is no manifestation, because the person himself does not exist, that does not transmigrate in samsara. From the reason that should be established in this way, it is not established in this way, the person from the stage of dwelling in the intermediate state, when transferring to the stage of later existence, becomes the fault of not taking. Thus it is said, if a person exists, then in just one moment, like the high and low of a scale, abandoning the intermediate existence, taking the later existence is also possible, the explanation of the stable friends Buddhapalita and others, because it cannot refute the other party's tenets, that is not reasonable. Then how is it reasonable? The commentator says that it is reasonable because it cannot be found in five ways. Thus it is said, the person that aggregate

Since the search for the person by way of the five modes is not found, it is reasonable to explain that there is no turning in the wheel of existence. The opponent says: The person is only existent, because the aggregates abide by way of transferring to another. Whatever is not existent here, that does not abide by way of transferring to another aggregate, like the son of a barren woman. The person has this sort of abiding by way of transferring to another aggregate. The Blessed One said, "At that time, at that moment, I myself became Nur from myself. I myself became Lekton." Therefore, by the strength of the reason as stated, the person is only existent. That is to say, since there is no person, there is no turning in the wheel of existence. Here also, the opponents are words for proving that the person is existent. Those are to be connected in sequence as the subject, the to-be-proven dharma, the proving dharma, the example of the dissimilar side, the application, and the conclusion. Here, like the son of a barren woman and so forth, those that do not abide by way of transferring to another aggregate are non-existent. But the person, like the wheel-turning king, I became Nur from myself, and Lekton and so forth, those that abide by way of transferring to another aggregate, are only existent. They say that. In reply to that which they say, here the teacher says: If one turns from one aggregate to another aggregate, then in that case, one will not have the aggregate that is the basis for positing prior and subsequent existences, just as Devadatta goes from one house to another house, and thus one will be separated from the nature of existence and will become non-existent. Since it is not its nature, it is not its aggregate, and thus it will also become without an aggregate. That also was said. Therefore, from the previously composed verses: If existence is not, and there is no aggregate, then what will turn in the wheel of existence? That which was said is explained in detail. How will existence not be, and how will there be no aggregate? Because if one turns from the aggregate of I, Nur, to the aggregate of Lekton, then in the interval between those, the person will not have the aggregate that is the basis for positing prior and subsequent existences, just as Devadatta goes from the previous house to

In the interval of moving to another later dwelling, it neither possesses the state of having abandoned the former dwelling, nor does it possess the state of not having taken the later dwelling, therefore, it does not possess the place to be designated as former and later dwellings. Similarly, that person also does not possess the state of having abandoned the former appropriation, nor does he possess the state of not having taken the later appropriation, therefore, he does not possess the place to be designated as former and later existences, because he does not possess appropriation, he is separated from the nature of existence, and will become non-existent. Because it is not the nature of existence, that existence is not the appropriation of that person, therefore it will also become without appropriation. Thus, in order to clarify that in the state of non-existence there is no appropriation, then what will it be, and what will it transmigrate? Like a flower in the sky, because it does not exist, it will not transmigrate, only that. Therefore, this shows the negation of the person who appropriates. If other debaters say this: Even so, in the interval between former and later, the person has no existence and appropriation, but that person will take the future later existence, therefore, he also has appropriation, and transmigration will also be established. In order to answer the aforementioned prior statement, here the commentator himself explains: Those appropriations that you think are appropriations, it will not take either, because it is appropriation. For example, just like the appropriation different from that one, it can be concluded by inference that: If there is no existence, then there is no appropriation, then what will it be, and what will it transmigrate? Thus it is said. They are respectively the subject, the dharma to be established, the dharma that establishes, the example, and the conclusion, arranged in order. For example, the appropriation of offerings different from Deva-given, because it is a conventional appropriation, in the ultimate truth, Deva-given will not take it, similarly, the appropriation of Deva-given is also a conventional appropriation, so in the ultimate truth, Deva-given will not take it, therefore, if there is no existence and appropriation, then what will that person be, and what will he transmigrate? Therefore, it has taken
