Whoever increases the points of contention in discussions, does not follow the path of the noble ones who work for the benefit of others. Whoever, like the foam of water on a tree, uses this meaningless body as a cause for benefiting others, but does not accomplish the essence like Mount Meru. A virtuous person with compassion makes each moment of aging and death, as well as the body that is the root of disease, the basis for the happiness and well-being of others. With the lamp of the sacred Dharma, having abandoned the eight unfavorable conditions, this leisure is something that should bear fruit through the conduct of a great person. The first chapter of not abandoning the mind of enlightenment from the essence of the Middle Way. Thus, for the benefit of sentient beings, having firmly taken the great Bodhicitta, it is truly beautiful and splendid to fully enter the path that is in accordance with the Dharma. This is loving-kindness without harm, and compassion accomplishing benefit, never being satisfied with the realization of the sacred Dharma, and having no stinginess in giving the Dharma. Being upright and destroying pride, contemplating the truth with the mind, being blind to the faults of others, and being afraid of the arising of one's own faults. Turning one's back on disputes and worldly affairs, and worldly gains, always respecting even those without qualities in order to generate the source of qualities. The giving born of compassion, in order to pacify the river of suffering of all beings, generates the desire to know all things. Bathing with the water of stainless morality, adorning with a white garland of patience, binding the burden of diligence in the hair, and focusing on meditative wisdom, skillfully opening the eye of wisdom, and being proficient in scriptures and worldly knowledge. Shame and modesty are clothing, and a firm belt is bound. Holding the leather of compassion, with stainless faith as a pill, guarding the gates of the senses with mindfulness, and sitting on a stable cushion. Relying on the great ascetic forest of great joy of the Mahayana, enjoying the fruits of meditative joy, with mindfulness abiding as the field of activity. Reciting the depths and vastness of the sutras, destroying sins, relying on the two truths, and reciting the arising of interdependence like the display of the sun. The flower of practice is endowed with praise, its fragrance pervades all directions, and is offered to the sun of the fully enlightened Buddha.

Serve as one, In the stove of individual discrimination, Burn all kinds of non-virtuous thoughts, For the sake of attaining the supreme state, Thus practice the asceticism of the Able One. In the Essence of Madhyamaka, the second chapter is a detailed explanation of the asceticism of the Able One. Whoever has the eye of wisdom, He has eyes, not others. Therefore, whoever is wise, He should strive to seek wisdom. The wise beings of the three realms, Even the blind can see without hindrance, They can also see the distant and subtle parts that they want to see, And the hidden meanings. Empty eyes without wisdom, Are not considered to have eyes, Because they cannot see the path and non-path of higher realms and liberation. The difference between seeing with the eye of wisdom and not seeing, Is that one does not engage in giving, etc., with the hope of poisonous thorns as a reward. Out of compassion, for the sake of being all-knowing, One diligently engages in giving, etc., with the three circles being completely pure, But one does not dwell on it in one's mind. Wisdom is like drinking nectar, Like a lamp with unobstructed light, Like the staircase of a mansion of liberation, Like a fire that burns the firewood of afflictions. That wisdom is also considered to be of two kinds, depending on the two truths. In order to be in accordance with the realization of the true meaning, It is the knowledge of the true conventional. Completing the accumulations of giving, merit, and wisdom, Knowing the pure result, connections, characteristics, etc. Meditating on love and compassion, Gathering and maturing sentient beings, The wisdom based on the twelve sense bases, Should be known as a designation. All the nets of conceptualization, Are made by refuting and establishing, Peace and individual self-awareness, Without conceptualization and without letters. Separated from oneness and otherness, Like the sky, stainless, in that nature, Entering without entering, The wisdom of ultimate truth should be known. Without the ladder of true conventionalities, To go to the top of the true mansion, Is not reasonable for the wise. That is, wanting to climb to the top of the mansion, Without the ladder of true conventionalities, Is not reasonable, Therefore, that is why. Wise people should strive to make their minds enter into equanimity, Likewise, in the wisdom born of hearing, Other than that.
