Because the one and only itself has measure and result, the proposition is not established. Therefore, it is a mistake to think that the one mind appears as two. The third reasoning is also said to be untrue, namely, the subject and the dharma to be established - the proposition, as well as the reason and the examples. Your proposition is not established for us either. Because it is the object of the mind itself, if the mind is outside, is it an object? Or is it an object when feelings and so on reside inside? If the external mind is an object, then at the time of the proposition, everything inside and outside is considered to be the mind itself, so the object and the subject are not reasonable. The internal mind should not be the object of the internal mind either, because it is a pseudo-reason. Furthermore, there is also such a fault that if everything is the mind itself, for example, when a vase is seen, the mind stream of all sentient beings should also be seen. By seeing it, the five types of beings should also naturally have the supernormal knowledge of knowing the minds of others. Furthermore, if everything is mind, then the appearance should also be non-form like the mind, and the mind should also be form like the appearance. Similarly, the mind should also become matter like the appearance, or the appearance should also become awareness and knowledge. When will you be free from the defilements of the grasped and the grasper, and be liberated? This is also unreasonable for you, because for those who believe in the existence of external objects, the yogi realizes that the object is without self-nature. Because of realizing the grasped and the grasper, the transcendental non-conceptual wisdom will arise, which is only reasonable. But for those of you who believe that there is no object, there is no external object from the beginning, and later it will also enter into the self-nature of the grasped and the grasper. What will prevent it later? There is no way to generate transcendental non-conceptual wisdom. Therefore, you say this: When the objects of form and so on do not appear as external to the mind, then the mind that is definitely abiding in the nature of one's own mind is called non-dual wisdom, which is Suchness, is truth, is immortality.

, believing that the ultimate state of all Buddhas is the nature of the three bodies, is a mistaken understanding. Those who assert non-appearance in this way also lack ultimate wisdom. They say: These are merely various manifestations of awareness, because they appear as things, they do not exist. For example, those with cataracts see non-existent hairs, moons, and so on. They establish their tenets in this way. They use collections of reasoning to prove that the appearance of external objects is false, and they believe that awareness and wisdom exist in ultimate reality. This is illogical, because by reasoning and scripture, proving that the appearance of external objects is false also proves that internal awareness is false. If awareness is true, then appearance will also become true. Furthermore, it is said that you believe there is something called "self-awareness," then it should be examined. Among the things to be aware of, the one who is aware, and the awareness itself, what kind of thing is the one you say is to be aware of? What kind of thing is the one who is aware? Apart from these two, how does the so-called awareness become self-aware by being aware of what? Therefore, since it does not conform to the meaning of the words "wisdom that knows all aspects," how can it become the wisdom of the Buddha? Please do not be stingy, and also show those meanings that you yourselves have established with reasoning. If someone says that because it is self-awareness, it cannot be shown to others, then how is this different from the "self" that is believed by outsiders? They say: "The self is permanent, unique, pervasive, and without a body." There is nothing different between this and your statement, so which wise person would believe this? The so-called "self-awareness" and the so-called "self" are merely different names. They also have not realized the selflessness of phenomena, because this itself is a great clinging to self. Furthermore, there are many faults, but let us set them aside for now. Here, in order to refute those who assert non-appearance, we assert that I have ultimate wisdom. Just as it is said in the Prajnaparamita Sutra that explains the definitive meaning: "Maitreya Bodhisattva, one should understand the differences of form in three ways: This is the form of what is completely imputed, this is the form of what is dependent on others.
