It is said that it should be established, and what is established by relying on it is not said to be the same or different from the aggregates. Therefore, because it is not said to be the same, it will not become the fault of impermanence, and because it is not said to be different, it will not become the fault of permanence. Commentary: What do you do with the well-tuned half-peg? You also say that the Tathagata is established by relying on it, and you also want the Tathagata to be accomplished from its own nature? If so, if the Buddha's aggregates do not exist from their own nature by relying on them. If the Buddha's aggregates are established by relying on them, then does that mean that the Buddha does not have its own nature? Like this, what is the use of relying on what exists in its own nature? Because what its own nature is, only it will be established. Because that has no own nature, what do the aggregates establish? Therefore, the Tathagata does not exist in its own nature. What does not exist from its own nature, how can it exist from other things? From what other things do you think those Tathagatas who do not exist from their own nature exist? Answer: From other things, the Tathagata is the aggregates that have become other, and is established by relying on them, therefore the Tathagata exists from other things. Commentary: Whatever relies on other things, those should not be the same. Whatever is established by relying on other things, it is not appropriate to say that it has its own nature, why? Because it is not established from itself. Whatever has no own nature, how can it become a Tathagata? The Tathagata, which does not have its own nature, relies on the aggregates to become other and is established, how can it become a Tathagata? If it does not have its own nature, and relies on the aggregates to become its own nature, then it will become born by relying on the aggregates, which is also not desirable, because it will fall into the fault of impermanence and so on. Again, if there is no own nature, how can there be other things? Both own nature and other things.

What belongs to the Tathagata? If the Tathagata has no own-being, and own-being does not exist, how can other-being exist? Like this, whatever is other than own-being is called other-being. How can something without own-being become other-being? Therefore, other-being is also non-existent. Then, apart from own-being and other-being, what is the Tathagata, and what is it established by? Answer: You do not understand the meaning of what is established by dependence, yet you speak so many unreasonable things. You cannot fully understand the meaning of it just by criticizing the words of others. Can the words "Does the Tathagata exist from own-being or from other-being?" refute what is established by relying on the Tathagatas? Explanation: In the world, whatever is done by ghosts is done by children. Saying that is the truth. Because you do not understand the meaning of what is established by dependence, but you are not like that. The aggregates that you think the Tathagata exists in should not be grasped. How is that? If the Tathagata exists without relying on the aggregates, then it is purely dependent, and it will arise from dependence, and it also depends on arising, and the aggregates merely reveal the Tathagata. If the aggregates are grasped, then the Tathagata exists dependently and is reliant. The aggregates also merely reveal the Tathagata. If it is not relying on the aggregates, the Tathagata does not exist. Whatever does not exist without relying, how can it be grasped? Without relying on the aggregates, the Tathagata is unreasonable. How can something that does not exist without relying on the aggregates grasp the aggregates? Answer: What is the use of saying these words that contradict the scriptures? Just like the Bhagavan (梵文:Bhagavan,梵文罗马拟音:Bhagavān,汉语字面意思:世尊) said that samsara has no beginning and no end.
