If asked: For example, a mirage, like any phenomenon, because the mirage is empty of nature, it is therefore not existent, not even for a moment. Similarly, for things like woolen cloth, if you analyze and observe with components such as cotton threads, you cannot find their existence. Therefore, things are called non-existent. Answer: Is the reason presented here becoming the definition of non-existence? Or is it not? If it becomes the definition of non-existence, then it becomes the same as the thing to be proven. If it is completely different from non-existence, then at this time the commitment will fail. Therefore, non-existence itself cannot be established. Here someone says: Here, the causes of things like clay, cotton thread, and looms are not denied, therefore things are non-existent. Refutation: The cause is not existent. For the existing effects here, their causes are not existent. Why? Because the existing things, such as pots and woolen cloth, their causes are not clay, cotton thread, looms, and ropes, because they are existent. For the non-existent effects, their causes are also not existent, because they are non-existent. For the effects that are both existent and non-existent, their causes are neither existent nor non-existent, because they will fall into the fault of both. Therefore, the existent things are because they are existent, and the non-existent things are because they are non-existent. It is also contradictory for one thing to be both existent and non-existent. Whatever is defined by existence is not non-existence. Whatever is defined by non-existence is not existence. Therefore, their causes are also not existent. For those things that come from no cause, their causes are also existent, because they are established from no cause. If it is said that they are established from no cause, then at this time these people's commitment will also fail, because the meanings of cause, agent, and reason are not different. Therefore, it is not correct to say that because the cause exists, things exist. Here someone says: This is also because by denying the cause, the effect is denied. By implication, cause and effect two

If either side also promises, because it is completely established, all things are established, if it is said like that. Answer: No, because it is interdependent. Here, what you special people say that both are established is not correct. Why? Because it is interdependent. The cause becomes a cause by depending on the effect, and the effect is also established by depending on the cause. In this way, because they are interdependent, both will become the fault of being the cause, and if both become the cause, then there is no effect. Without the effect, there is no cause. Similarly, nature, Ishvara, atoms, directions, time, etc., are not causes, because they are interdependent. These will also become impermanent, because they are established by dependence. It will also become the fault of being created, so it will become the fault of being impermanent, without cause, and created. Therefore, nature, Ishvara, atoms, directions, time, etc., are not established, because they depend on the cause. Here someone says: In that case, what we say is not from the infallible approximation, but from others. Answer: It is not because of desire that it exists. Here, if it is established by desire, then in order to abandon that reason, what you have in my desire is what I do not have. Why? Because it is established from desire. If it is established from your desire, but not from my desire, then here, for this different situation, no special reason is stated. Therefore, desire is not established. Here someone says: This is from our convention. Answer: Convention is not established. Just as your convention is not established, how can what is not established become a proof? What is not established is not the proof of reason and non-reason. Therefore, convention is not established. Because it is far from reason, it is not possible to find someone who says that there is something to be stated in the scriptures. Another said: In some cases, reason should also be stated, as it is said: Because non-existence is not an action, and because the proximate cause is the object to be taken.

And, because there is no arising for everything, and because the capable is incapable, and because it is the nature of the cause, therefore there is a result, like such explanations. It is said: Those reasons are meaningless. Here, whatever your reason is, if it becomes the characteristic of what is to be established, then our tenet will also be established. If it becomes the characteristic of refutation, then it will become a fault for both, just as fire burns both, not just one. Furthermore, if the object to be measured is established from the reason, then the opponent must also state the reason, because neither wants to be established. For example, your proposition is that sound is permanent, because it is not corporeal, like space. Just as space is permanent because it is not corporeal, so too is sound permanent. Therefore, sound is established as permanent. Similarly, others should also say, our proposition is that sound is impermanent, because it is made, like a pot. Just as a pot is truly produced from clay and so on, and from human effort, it is made. Similarly, sound is also produced from the throat and so on, and is called made. Therefore, the reason is just a name, and there is no establishment. However, from valid cognition, it is not just a name, because it is not deceptive. For this reason, the reasons are also meaningless, because at the time of the proposition, the reason does not exist, because it has not arisen. Similarly, at the time of the reason, the proposition also does not exist, because it has the nature of cessation. Therefore, for something that does not have a proposition, whose reason will this become? Similarly, because the proposition has the characteristic of not being simultaneous, when there is the letter "བྲ", there is no letter "ཧ" and the letter "ར". Similarly, at one time, the letter "པ", the letter "ར", and the letter "ཨ" and so on, are also not produced simultaneously. The letters of the reason are also not produced simultaneously. Just as an unborn son or a hermaphrodite son cannot do the work of a son, so too are the reasons meaningless. Here
