The ornament is similar in shape to a vajra, hence it is called a vajra. A vajra is thick at both ends and thin in the middle. Similarly, this Prajnaparamita also fully reveals the grounds for practice with faith and joy in the beginning and the end, and the vast Buddha-ground. The thin middle part shows the ground of pure higher intention. Therefore, this is like the form of a vajra, which shows that these three grounds are to be expressed. In brief, there are five aspects in summary: the introduction, the instigation, the perpetuation of the Buddha's lineage, the nature of the practice, and its place. Among these, the introduction is the cause of the arising of the sutra, which is shown from "Thus I have heard" to "the venerable Subhuti." Therefore, in order to make people believe in me (Ananda), because it truly gathers together, it should be said in all the sutras. The instigation is the combination of the occasion for the purpose of explaining the meaning of the sutra. If one speaks out of season, everything will become scattered. In order to eliminate the scattering, one should always combine it with the occasion. It is shown from "The venerable Subhuti arose from his seat" and so on. The perpetuation of the Buddha's lineage is also shown by it. The noble Subhuti knew that this Prajnaparamita could perpetuate the Buddha's lineage. Therefore, the venerable Subhuti first stated how to perpetuate the Buddha's lineage. The nature of the practice is shown from "How should one who has entered the Bodhisattva vehicle abide?" and so on. The place of the nature of the practice refers to the place where the Bodhisattva should abide, what should be practiced, and what mind should be strongly grasped. That is its place. That is, Subhuti, for those who have entered the Bodhisattva vehicle, from "I shall do thus" to the final verses "like a star, a fault of vision, a lamp," etc. The nature of the practice and its place, this

The two have completely explained all the actions of the Bodhisattva, this is just a brief meaning. The meaning of the words, etc., should also be explained, those are explained in that way. Among them, the sound called "Thus," although it also appears as many meanings such as promise, etc., but here, by the power of the occasion, etc., it is considered to be certain. This determines all the meanings that appear from the following in the Sutra Pitaka. The word "I" is to distinguish others, and to show that the meaning is obviously heard. It means that it is not that I heard it myself and it has been passed down through a single lineage. The word "heard" is to negate realization, because apart from the Buddha, no one else can realize such Dharma by themselves. This eliminates distrust. The so-called "one time" refers to one time, indicating that it is difficult to hear such Dharma treasures at all times. Or it shows that I have heard a lot. It shows that I heard this at one time, and I also heard others at other times. Or combine "one time" with the following, saying "The Blessed One dwelt at one time," in order to benefit those countless who can be tamed, so he dwells in other places at other times. The so-called "Blessed One" refers to the fact that because he has the ability to overcome afflictions, aggregates, the Lord of Death, the Demon Son of the Gods, and the four demons, he is determined to be the Blessed One in terms of the meaning of the word. Or because he has power, etc., he is called "Possessing Virtue," as it is said: Having power and being extremely possessed, beauty and splendor and fame, wisdom and diligence, these six are called possessing virtue. Just like what is said. The so-called "Shravasti" is the city of Shravasti because it is the residence of the sage named Shravasti, and it is also called Shravasti because it is related to the area it represents. Mentioning this place is also to explain that this place has become a stupa, just as it is said here that this place has become a stupa. Or in order to prove that I can correctly collect my words, everything is mentioned, such as

The reason to have faith is that, along with the place and appearance, what is said by those with power will be heeded by others, otherwise it should not be heeded. Shravasti is very vast, and it is impossible to know where one resides, so it is said, "Jeta's Grove of Prince Jeta," because it is the grove of Prince Jeta, so it is Jeta's Grove of Prince Jeta. Even if no one has heard of it, it is said, "In Anathapindika's Jeta Grove," because "Anathapindika" is the name of the householder who is compassionate to the helpless and famous for giving food. For the sake of the Blessed One, he spread out jewels and bought Jeta Grove from Prince Jeta. Prince Jeta also had the houses and other things decorated for the Blessed One, so these two groves became famous. If only one of them is mentioned, the difference in the place that one wants to express will not be understood, so all three words are spoken. Or, "Shravasti" means that one dwells among many, showing the perfection of benefiting others. "Jeta's Grove of Prince Jeta, Anathapindika's Jeta Grove" means that one dwells in a secluded place, which is the perfection of benefiting oneself. When thinking about who is in charge here, it is said, "The great Sangha of monks," because those who are free from afflictions are monks. The many who cannot be destroyed by demons and other outsiders are called the Sangha. The great Sangha of monks has both majority and power, which shows great power. Thinking about what the majority is like, it is said, "One thousand two hundred and fifty," etc., because there were so many at that time. The Sangha of monks has a very large number of Bodhisattvas, which is why the Sutras are explained for them. Those are the Bodhisattvas who have great courage in Bodhicitta. In order to distinguish that the Shravakas also have Bodhicitta, it is said, "Great Bodhisattva," including Dharma and generating the mind, as well as faith and thought, as well as assembly and time, and correct.
