It is not, all dharmas individually realize selflessness, and constantly remember the inconceivable, the peaceful consciousness arising from this is the inconceivable samadhi. Absence of things is the object, mindfulness is the master. Absence of characteristics is the only characteristic, after saying this, the Bhagavan rejoiced and praised: Manjushri, you have well spoken of such a profound state. Profound profound appears twice, in order to be free from the extremes of addition and slander. The state is the place of those who have inverted discriminations. Such is difficult to understand. This refers to what was just said. All refers to those previously mentioned such as belonging to the limbs of samadhi, the object, the aspect, etc. You have shown and explained these in order to dispel the inverted discriminations about them, this is well said. If so, that state is so difficult to understand, how can Manjushri show it? In order to dispel this doubt, it is said: It is indeed like that, Manjushri, you have done work for the Buddhas of the past, you have practiced the unconditioned pure conduct for a long time. It is indeed like that, is to prevent or allow, it is said that it is possible to clearly explain such a reason. In order to know the profound Dharma and in order to teach it, whoever has generated roots of virtue etc. for the Buddhas of the past, and has generated roots of virtue, is called that. Brahma is without fault. To practice for this is pure conduct, whoever has practiced without object for a long time, is called that, and is connected with you have shown. Therefore, generating roots of virtue for the Buddha and meditating without object is the reason for teaching the profound Dharma. Now in order to show one's own nature, it is said: Thus, Manjushri, do you abide in the Prajnaparamita, so you speak like that? Is that what you think? Thus refers to practicing without object, it is said thus. What refers to asking. Wisdom

Dwelling in the Perfection of Wisdom, does the mind arise with such a pervasive wandering thought, saying as before? After asking this, the Blessed One replied: If I were to have such a mind as you ask, then at that time I would dwell in the object of grasping and being grasped, and say so. If one dwells in an object, then dwelling in an object will be lost. In order to briefly show the fruit of dwelling in an object, it is said, "Dwelling in the thought of self," and so on. The so-called "self" is the nature of permanence, etc., that is completely conceived by the non-Buddhists, and the nature of the aggregates, etc., that is conceived by the Bodhisattvas who have not seen Suchness, both of which are the basis of the view of the destructible aggregate. Among them, "thought" is universal discrimination and arrogance. The word "etc." includes the thoughts of sentient beings and life, etc., and also includes the thoughts of universal affliction and purification, etc. These are the causes here. The so-called "thought of things" is the thought of form, etc., which is the result. By showing the object with the result, it is shown that it is contrary to not dwelling in the object. In order to conclude, it is said, "Therefore, dwelling in the Perfection of Wisdom," and so on. Saying the nature of the object that was familiar before is contrary to the Perfection of Wisdom, which is the nature of all dharmas not dwelling in the object. Therefore, dwelling in the Perfection of Wisdom, one would not say this. In order to show the contradiction itself. Why cling? Blessed One, if, as it is said, one thinks of dwelling in the Perfection of Wisdom with self-nature, and thinks of dwelling in it, or thinks of not dwelling in it, and discriminates not dwelling in it, then it is not the Perfection of Wisdom, because it is reversed from the Perfection of Wisdom. This is a vow. In order to establish this reason, there is another reason, Blessed One, dwelling in self is dwelling in the Perfection of Wisdom, not dwelling No universal arising.

Just as there is no arising, so is the place. Since no dharma abides, therefore the place is also like that. The inconceivable place is the place of the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on. To say "abiding in self" is like abiding in self, it is abiding in self. That is abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom. If asked, what is it like to abide in self? It is said, "no abiding." This abiding in self is not existent, therefore it is no abiding. Or, because it abides here, it abides. That which is not like that is no abiding. Why is that? It is said, "it has no arising." Because it can arise and arise, it is called arising, meaning that which can cause arising. That which does not exist in what, that is no arising. Therefore, because there is no cause for arising, there is no arising, that is, no birth. Thus it is said, as in the Jewel Box Sutra: If the view of the aggregates of decay can cause arising, then what is the self that can cause arising? The self does not arise from anywhere, and the self that can cause arising is no arising. and so on. Because it shows that the example of cause, self-nature, and actions are all unreasonable, that is, no abiding, therefore the meaning is connected. Therefore it is said, "the place is also like that," and so on. "Like that" means like the self. It means that in whatever place it abides, I do not say it like that. Because it abides here, it is considered and said to "abide" in conventional truth. This is a summary word, because it summarizes all the dharmas of the metaphor. The differentiated analysis of this is "no dharma abides," and so on. Neither the object of grasping nor the grasper abides, arises, or exists. This shows that the cause is unreasonable. To say "therefore" means that because the dharma is non-existent, the place and basis are what is manifestly desired. This is because the characteristic is unreasonable here, because it grasps things. If it is said to be a place, it is not reasonable because there are no things here. Such an aspect is inconceivable.
