It is leakage. Desire and so on are precisely what is taken, because they are obscured by ignorance, moistened by the water of views, and attached to the appearance of self, for the sake of taking aggregates and so on. Since there is no taking like that, without taking, the mind is separated from all leakages and becomes completely liberated. The seven hundred nuns and so on should be connected with the previous text. Or it should be connected with the following text. "Free from dust" means free from adventitious signs. "Immaculate" means free from the stains of co-emergent negative karma. "In the Dharma" refers to form and so on. "Eye of Dharma" means that wisdom arises and occurs, having the realm of emptiness and other Dharmas as its object, which means that in this realm, one has become free from the negative karma of signs. When asked, "What is the cause of this great earthquake that occurs constantly? What is the condition that helps this cause?" the answer was, "Ananda, this Dharma category called 'Teaching the Field of Merit'" and so on. Because the field of merit is taught by this or in this, it is called "Teaching the Field of Merit." The Buddhas of the past also did so, referring to the names that have been mentioned, because the difference in number has not been shown. Moreover, the dwelling place of the Tathagatas who are completely liberated from all causes of destruction and faults is not a place of destruction. It is not reasonable to say that during the Good Aeon, Light Protector and others taught this, because it was not only them, but also the previous ones. If that were not the case, then in Playful Subjugation it says: "A thousand billion Buddhas, I remember ninety-one aeons ago, in this excellent grove called 'Righteous One,' the supreme wheel of Dharma was turned." How can what appears like that be consistent? What was said about this place is not about another place. "Said" means "has been said." "The cause of this is that" refers to the characteristic of the Tathagatas of the past dwelling and teaching. "The condition is that" refers to the present dwelling and teaching. How should one proceed in that way?

Passing away in between, and how to understand what is said, what is entered for and obtained, what is the activity of taming sentient beings, and its means is the field of merit. These are the teachings of the Buddha. The explanation of the aspects of the object of the path to enlightenment is complete. After obtaining its result, the Blessed One said, "Manjushri is an inconceivable glory," and so on. Inconceivable means unable to be conceived. Glory is the perfection of body, speech, and mind, and whoever possesses the nature of greatness is called glory. As a proof, the Blessed One said, "What and what is his boldness?" and so on. What and what is boldness is what appears in the mind, and those themselves are inconceivable, not other boldness. The Blessed One said, "Manjushri, the words spoken by the monk Sharadvatiputra are just as they are," which means that the Blessed One also rejoiced and agreed. Shariputra, this one who has entered the state of Buddhahood, how could he understand the boldness of the noble Manjushri and speak these words? No one should doubt this. Manjushri also, in order to explain this meaning, the Blessed One said, "If it is inconceivable, it will not become boldness," and so on, meaning that I am extremely restraining boldness, and that is its nature. If the inconceivable becomes boldness, it means that if one says, "It is inconceivable," and boasts and puts it forward, then it will become inconceivable. Fifth chapter. If it is inconceivable, how can it be shown without boldness? If it is shown, how is it without boldness? In order to eliminate these contradictions, it is also said, "Whatever is not inconceivable, there is nothing at all." Again, this is separated from the previous one, explaining another reason, the thing that is not inconceivable is nothing at all. Thus, after explaining that the inconceivable is what pervades, it is explained that because it is the nature of sound, it is the sound that is the place of dispute.
