Yogis, what do you think? From "apart from the mind that is like an illusion and like an illusion," to "World Honored One, apart from the mind that is like an illusion and like an illusion, I have not truly seen any dharma that can manifest perfect complete enlightenment," this passage shows that apart from the mind that is like an illusion and like an illusion, there is no other dharma that can manifest perfect complete enlightenment, and in reality, there is no such dharma at all. World Honored One, if I have not truly seen other dharmas, then what dharma, existent or nonexistent, should I proclaim? This means that, according to the principles stated above, if apart from the mind that is like an illusion and like an illusion, there is no dharma that can manifest perfect complete enlightenment, then apart from it, whether existent or nonexistent, cannot be proclaimed. The statement "any dharma that is extremely secluded will not become existent or nonexistent" explains the reason why existence or nonexistence cannot be proclaimed. In reality, all dharmas are free from the two extremes of existence and nonexistence, and because they are extremely secluded, existence and nonexistence cannot be established or proclaimed. The statement "any secluded dharma will not manifest perfect complete enlightenment" shows that such a dharma that is free from the two extremes and is secluded cannot manifest perfect complete enlightenment. The statement "nonexistent dharmas will not manifest perfect complete enlightenment either" explains that the meaning of extreme seclusion is the absence of entities, and the absence of entities means that perfect complete enlightenment cannot be attained. Why is that? World Honored One, because all dharmas that become afflicted or purified are nonexistent and completely nonexistent. This explains the reason why the absence of entities means that perfect complete enlightenment cannot be attained. To manifest perfect complete enlightenment is to abandon the dharmas that belong to the side of affliction, and also

If the pure dharmas are transformed by meditation, then all those dharmas are without substance in the ultimate sense, because there is neither anything to be abandoned nor anything to be meditated upon, so there is also no attainment of enlightenment, this is what is shown. Why is that? The Blessed One said, from "The Perfection of Wisdom is extremely secluded," to "Omniscience itself is extremely secluded," in this way, all dharmas are extremely secluded and without substance, as briefly stated above. After that, from the Perfection of Wisdom to Omniscience itself, all the pure dharmas are mentioned one by one, showing that they are extremely secluded and without substance. That which is extremely secluded is not to be meditated upon, nor is it to be truly meditated upon, which means that for that which is extremely secluded and without substance, there is nothing to be meditated upon or accomplished, and there is nothing to be destroyed or abandoned, this is what is shown. "Truly meditating" means refuting or destroying. Because the Perfection of Wisdom is extremely secluded, "there is no dharma to be accomplished," which is shown in order to clearly understand the meaning explained above. From "If the Perfection of Wisdom is extremely secluded" to "How can one attain seclusion by seclusion?" it is shown that all dharmas are extremely secluded and empty of inherent existence. Therefore, the Perfection of Wisdom, which is the cause of attaining unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and unsurpassed enlightenment itself, are also without substance in the ultimate sense, because they are extremely secluded, so there is nothing to be attained.

From "the perfection of wisdom is secluded" to "likewise, the complete enlightenment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is also extremely secluded," it is about the perfection of wisdom and so on. All purified dharmas are without substance in ultimate truth. Just as it is extremely secluded, so too is the complete enlightenment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment without substance. Because of extreme seclusion, there is no complete enlightenment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. This is what is taught. Subhuti, if the perfection of wisdom does not become extremely secluded, up to "it will not become all-knowing," it explains the meaning of extreme seclusion. What is called extreme seclusion means abandoning the apprehended and the apprehender, and the three spheres are completely pure. If one practices the complete purification of the three spheres in this way, then the six perfections and so on, up to all-knowingness, will be able to obtain the names of purified dharmas. If one does not abandon the apprehended and the apprehender, and does not become extremely secluded, and the three spheres are not completely pure, then one will not be able to obtain the names of the six perfections and so on. This is what is taught. Subhuti, therefore, just as the perfection of wisdom is extremely secluded, up to "just as all-knowingness is extremely secluded, so without relying on the perfection of wisdom, one will not attain complete enlightenment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment," it means that in ultimate truth, all dharmas are without substance and extremely secluded. However, in conventional truth, without relying on the extremely secluded perfection of wisdom, one will not attain complete enlightenment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. If one relies on it, then one will attain complete enlightenment through the principle of dependent origination. This is what is taught. Seclusion does not realize seclusion, which means that in ultimate truth, the perfection of wisdom is also without substance.
