This is the explanation of the reason: Starting from "All dharmas are of the nature of emptiness," and ending with "Subhuti, why is that? Because for the desireless, going or coming is not seen," it explains that all dharmas are no different from the nature of the three doors of liberation. Just as there is no going or coming in the three doors of liberation, so too there is no going or coming in all dharmas. Therefore, the bodhisattva who shows the true meaning exists for the benefit of sentient beings, and this statement is related to what was said earlier. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of non-action, from "Why is that? Because for an emanation, going and coming are not seen," it explains that all dharmas are not established as real in the ultimate truth, therefore they are non-action, without birth, without cessation, without defilement, and without purification. Because they are like dreams, illusions, echoes, mirages, images, water moons, and emanations, there is no going or coming. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of infinite and all-encompassing infinity, it explains that all dharmas are empty of inherent existence, because there is no entity, they transcend the edge of birth and cessation, or the edges of permanence and annihilation, etc., therefore going and coming are not seen. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of abandoning and not abandoning, it explains that all dharmas are empty of inherent existence in the ultimate truth, because there is no falsely clinging to non-existent things as existent, therefore there is no abandoning of what is clung to; nor is there denying existent things as non-existent, therefore it is the nature of not abandoning. For such dharmas, going and coming are not seen. Subhuti, all dharmas are of the nature of decreasing and increasing, it explains that in the ultimate truth, all dharmas are completely pure by nature, therefore there is no decreasing of the side of defilement, nor is there increasing of the side of purification, for such a nature, there is no going or coming.
