This is to show that it is of a peaceful nature because there is no conceptualization and all afflictions do not arise. The statement "all dharmas are without characteristics and without objects" means that, ultimately, all dharmas are empty of nature, and because the characteristics of the arising of afflictions have no object, the Perfection of Wisdom is peaceful. The statement "the Perfection of Wisdom without attachment" means that because there is nothing to be attached to, this is to show that the Perfection of Wisdom is of a nature without attachment. The statement "attachment has no object" means that because there is nothing to be attached to, the attachment that produces attachment also has no object, therefore the Perfection of Wisdom is without attachment. The statement "the Perfection of Wisdom without anger" means that this is to show that the Perfection of Wisdom is completely pure and without fault, and therefore is of a nature without anger. The statement "because there is no anger" means that because the dharmas that are the cause of the arising of anger are unreal, anger will not arise, therefore the Perfection of Wisdom is without anger. The statement "the Perfection of Wisdom without delusion" means that this is to show that the Perfection of Wisdom is of a nature that completely purifies all knowable things and afflictive obscurations. The statement "because it dispels all darkness of ignorance" means that because the Perfection of Wisdom is the antidote to delusion, it is without delusion. The statement "the Perfection of Wisdom without afflictions" means that this is to show that the Perfection of Wisdom is of a spontaneously accomplished nature without conceptualization, therefore there are no afflictions of conceptualization. The statement "because there is no complete knowledge" means that because it is said in the sutras that Bodhisattvas have complete knowledge of afflictions, the Perfection of Wisdom has no complete knowledge, therefore it is called the Perfection of Wisdom without afflictions. The statement "the Perfection of Wisdom without sentient beings" means that the Perfection of

Because this nature is empty, it shows that the self and sentient beings contemplated by the heretics do not exist. The so-called "because there are no sentient beings" means that the self and sentient beings contemplated by the heretics are not established even in the conventional sense. Similarly, prajnaparamita is also without things in the ultimate sense, so it is said that there are no sentient beings. The so-called "completely abandoned paramita" means that prajnaparamita is the antidote to afflictions, thus showing that it is the nature of completely abandoning all afflictions. The so-called "because all dharmas do not arise" means that the arising of afflictions is not because things exist, and they are eliminated by cultivating antidotes, so they become non-existent, but because all dharmas are empty in nature, and realizing that there is no arising and appearance is the meaning of complete abandonment. The so-called "paramita that does not transform into two extremes" means that prajnaparamita is the nature of non-discrimination, so it shows that it will not transform into the discrimination of two extremes such as existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation. The so-called "because of completely abandoning extremes" means that non-discrimination itself is the nature of completely abandoning the two extremes, so it is the meaning of not transforming into the two extremes. The so-called "non-different paramita" means that prajnaparamita is the nature of suchness, so it shows that it is not different from the dharmadhatu. The so-called "because all dharmas are not mixed" means that if there are things, then mixing and non-mixing can be considered different, but because all dharmas have no things, so there is no mixing and non-mixing, so there is no difference, which is its meaning. The so-called "paramita without decay" means that prajnaparamita is free from all faults and defilements, which is what is to be shown. The so-called "because it transcends the position of hearers and solitary Buddhas" means that the faults and defilements of the Mahayana are beyond the Hinayana, that is, hearers and solitary
