Furthermore, the merit of those who have subdued and established themselves in enlightenment, if they extensively teach others about the meaning and words of this Perfection of Wisdom and encourage them to practice it, demonstrates the benefits of great merit. Kausika! Moreover, if any son or daughter of a noble family encourages all sentient beings in Jambudvipa to strive for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and so on. Kausika! In each of the ten directions, there are worlds as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges River. Why is that? Kausika! Those who arise from this are the great Bodhisattvas who generate the first thought of enlightenment. Thus, all sentient beings in Jambudvipa, the four continents, the thousandfold world, the two-thousandfold world, the three-thousand great thousandfold world, and in each of the ten directions, all sentient beings in worlds as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges River, if encouraged to strive for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, the merit of those who explain this Perfection of Wisdom accurately in meaning and words, teach it with instructions, and encourage diligent practice, greatly increases merit, as demonstrated with reason. What is the reason for that? Why is that? Kausika! Those who arise from this are the great Bodhisattvas who generate the first thought of enlightenment. If a Bodhisattva encourages others to strive for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, causing them to generate the first thought of enlightenment and attain the first Bodhisattva ground, these Bodhisattvas also arise from the equality, thought, and meditation of this Perfection of Wisdom. Therefore, if one encourages others to strive for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment and extensively teaches this Perfection of Wisdom to others, encouraging them to practice it, great merit is generated, as demonstrated. Kausika! Moreover, if any son or daughter of a noble family encourages all sentient beings in Jambudvipa to the stage of non-retrogression...

Beginning with "to place," each of the ten directions has worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. Why is that? Because, Kausika, what arises from the Prajnaparamita is the irreversible ground for the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Up to "called the irreversible ground," it refers to all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa, as well as the four continents, a thousand worlds, two thousand worlds, three thousand great thousand worlds, and the sentient beings in each of the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. The merit of placing all of these on the irreversible ground, if someone extensively explains the meaning and words of this Prajnaparamita to others and encourages them to practice it, then the great benefit of this merit is shown. Kausika, furthermore, all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa have correctly entered into the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, starting from "have entered." Kausika, each of the ten directions has worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. When you obtain the dharmas of omniscience, you will attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. If you admonish in this way, then the merit of that son or daughter of good family will greatly increase. Up to "the merit will greatly increase," it refers to all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa, as well as the worlds of the four continents, a thousand worlds, two thousand worlds, three thousand great thousand worlds, and the worlds in each of the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. If this Prajnaparamita is extensively explained to all those who have correctly entered into unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and taught with instructions, and they are encouraged to practice it, then for the Bodhisattva who has correctly entered into unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, the sacred Dharma
