The term "rejoicing" indicates that even noble Śrāvakas have the opportunity to attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Some Śrāvakas abide in a solitary place of peace, but through circumstances and the inspiration of the Tathāgata's light, they can generate the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment and engage in the conduct of Bodhisattvas. For these individuals, this Prajñāpāramitā should also be taught, that is its meaning. In particular, because they will obtain superior Dharmas that surpass the noble Dharmas, I will not create obstacles to their virtuous actions. The statement "not creating obstacles" means that noble Śrāvakas are superior to ordinary worldlings and non-Buddhists, and Bodhisattvas are superior to Śrāvakas. Therefore, since it is possible for Śrāvakas to enter the conduct of Bodhisattvas, this Prajñāpāramitā should also be taught to them. Śrāvakas should not be exploited and placed, that is its meaning. Kauśika, what is the Prajñāpāramitā of a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva? Kauśika, here, a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, with a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowledge, thinks of form as impermanent in a non-attached manner, and so on. Previously, when Indra asked the Blessed One, "What is the Prajñāpāramitā of a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva?" Subhūti replied that one enters Prajñāpāramitā through the state of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. That is, with a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowledge, if one thinks of form and other dharmas as impermanent and suffering, etc., that is the Prajñāpāramitā that belongs to the aspect of all-knowledge. Among them, "thinking of form as impermanent" means that it arises from what has not arisen, and after arising, it will also disappear, therefore it is impermanent. "Thinking of form as suffering" is because it possesses various harms. "Thinking of form as without self" means that it does not conform to the characteristics of the self conceived by non-Buddhists.

Because it possesses. The so-called "form should be regarded as peaceful" is because it ultimately pacifies all suffering. The so-called "form should be regarded as secluded" is because it is ultimately free from afflictions. The so-called "form should be regarded as internal" is because it needs to be nourished by many causes and is the source of physical and mental suffering, so it should be regarded as a disease. The so-called "form should be regarded as a sore" is because it has the harm of suffering and flows with the pus and blood of afflictions, so it is like a sore and should be regarded as a sore. The so-called "form should be regarded as an arrow" is because it is pierced by internal and external harms and is difficult to treat, so it is like an arrow and should be regarded as an arrow. The so-called "form should be regarded as a sin" is because it should be condemned and will become inappropriate, so it is like a sin and should be regarded as a sin. The so-called "form should be regarded as sickness" is because it has long-term harm, so it is like a chronic disease and should be regarded as sickness. The so-called "form should be regarded as an enemy" is because it is the source of unease and various harms, so it is like an enemy and should be regarded as an enemy. The so-called "form should be regarded as the law of destruction" is because its nature is completely destroyed by disease, old age, and death, so it is called the law of destruction. The so-called "form should be regarded as impermanent" is because of the states of birth, old age, etc., and because it changes and does not stay in one place, so it is impermanent. The so-called "form should be regarded as destruction" is because it destroys itself and is destroyed by the causes of destruction, so it is destruction. The so-called "form should be regarded as fear" is because it is the source of all fears, such as external enemies and internal diseases. The so-called "form should be regarded as an infectious disease" is because it is mixed with many harms and is like an infectious disease, so it is an infectious disease. The so-called "form should be regarded as emptiness" is because there is no agent inside, so it is emptiness. The so-called "form should be regarded as without self" is because there is no view of grasping the aggregates, such as feeling, as self.

To regard form as unreliable is not a correct way of thinking, but rather arises from imputation, because it is of a nature that changes and is unstable. To regard form as harmful is taught because it is the cause of discomfort to body and mind, and of various harms. With the mind of possessing all-knowingness, from the thought that feeling is impermanent in a non-objective way, to the thought that old age and death are harmful, the meaning of impermanence and so on should be applied in the same way. These teach the Perfection of Wisdom belonging to the aspect of all-knowingness, through the methods of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Kausika, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with the mind of possessing all-knowingness, practices the Perfection of Giving in a non-objective way, and so on, which teaches the conduct of Bodhisattvas, the Perfection of Wisdom belonging to the aspect of knowing the aspects of the path. From practicing the Perfection of Giving in a non-objective way with the mind of possessing all-knowingness, to practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, in the conventional truth, with the mind of wishing that I and all sentient beings may attain all-knowingness, one practices the six perfections, and in the ultimate truth, one also practices in a non-objective way, which teaches the Perfection of Wisdom belonging to the aspect of knowing the aspects of the path. Kausika, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with the mind of possessing all-knowingness, meditates on the four mindfulnesses in a non-objective way, from meditating on the four mindfulnesses to meditating on the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, when meditating on the pure dharmas such as the four mindfulnesses, in the conventional truth, with the mind of dedicating that I and all sentient beings may attain all-knowingness, and
