Ah! Whatever is space, and whatever is the Great Vehicle, all of these are because of being without an object of focus. This is called showing the reason for being immeasurable. Because sentient beings, space, and the Great Vehicle are thus without an object of focus, it is shown as being immeasurable. These are the first explanation. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there are no sentient beings, one should understand that there is no realm of phenomena either. From "because there are no sentient beings" to "all of these are because of being without an object of focus," on top of the absence of sentient beings, space, and the Great Vehicle, the reasons of the realm of phenomena, immeasurability, uncountability, inconceivability, and the absence of all phenomena are added, thereby showing the nearness of the Great Vehicle opening up an opportunity, this is the second explanation. Among these, immeasurability is because there is no thing whatsoever, so it cannot be measured by bushels and pecks. Uncountability is because it cannot be counted as numbers like one or two. Inconceivability is because it cannot be reached by inference. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there are no sentient beings, one should understand that Suchness is also absent. From "because there are no sentient beings" to "all of these are because of being without an object of focus," in the context of the realm of phenomena, the explanation of Suchness is mentioned, this is the third explanation. Furthermore, Subhuti, because of the absence of self, one should understand that there are no sentient beings. From "because there are no sentient beings" to "all of these are because of being without an object of focus," in the context of Suchness, the natures established by non-Buddhists, and the true limit are mentioned, thereby showing the explanation that these things do not exist, this is the fourth explanation. Furthermore, Subhuti, because of the absence of self, one should understand that there are no sentient beings, etc., in the context of the true limit, the inconceivable realm and the five aggregates are added, thereby showing the explanation that these are without an object of focus, this is the fifth explanation. Similarly, the explanation combined with the six internal sense bases is the sixth explanation. The explanation combined with the six external sense bases is the seventh explanation. The explanation combined with the six consciousnesses is the eighth explanation. The explanation combined with the six contacts that arise from gathering

This is the ninth. The explanation of combining the cause of contact with the six feelings is the tenth. The explanation of combining the six elements such as the earth element is the eleventh. The explanation of combining ignorance and other twelve links of dependent origination is the twelfth. The explanation of combining the six perfections is the thirteenth. The explanation of combining the eighteen emptinesses is the fourteenth. The explanation of combining the thirty-seven wings of enlightenment is the fifteenth. The explanation of combining the four noble truths to the gates of dharani is the sixteenth, because these dharmas are mentioned in one category because they are common dharmas of the Shravakas and Bodhisattvas. The explanation of combining the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha is the seventeenth. The explanation of combining the lineage ground, the eighth ground, the seeing ground, the thinned ground, the ground free from desire, and the ground of realized action is the eighteenth. The explanation of combining the four fruits such as stream-enterer is the nineteenth. The explanation of combining the Pratyekabuddha and the Samyaksambuddha is the twentieth. The explanation of combining the three vehicles and Omniscience is the twenty-first. The explanation of showing the example of the realm of Nirvana is the twenty-second. Thus, all these dharmas are not established as truly existent in the ultimate sense, because there is no object of focus, so they are like space, therefore the Mahayana can open up vast opportunities for immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable beings, so it is called Mahayana, as it is said. Subhuti, what you said, "The Mahayana does not come or go, nor does it abide," etc., Subhuti, just as you said, because Subhuti thinks that the Mahayana does not come or go, it is called Mahayana, the Bhagavan briefly stated this reason, and then praised it, saying, "This is true," O Mahayana.
