This is to show the nature of reality. In the ultimate sense, all phenomena, such as arising and ceasing, are non-existent, which is called the unconditioned nature of reality. Thus it is shown. The Blessed One said: Kauśika, it is so, it is so. From "it is so" to "one will attain, attain, will attain self-enlightenment," it is true that if one holds and cherishes this Prajñāpāramitā, one will remember the Buddha in the nature of reality. The Buddhas, Blessed Ones of the three times, as well as the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, attain their respective fruits by relying on this Prajñāpāramitā. Thus it is shown. Why is that? Because in this Prajñāpāramitā, all three vehicles are extensively taught, even though they are taught in the manner of worldly conventions, but not in the ultimate sense. Thus, the Buddhas, Blessed Ones of the three times, and others, rely on this Prajñāpāramitā to attain their respective fruits, and they attain their respective fruits by realizing the meaning of this Prajñāpāramitā, such as being without characteristics and without objects. Thus it is shown. Why is that? This Prajñāpāramitā is not long gone, and it does not abandon the qualities of ordinary beings. This is to show that this Prajñāpāramitā is, in the ultimate sense, free from all characteristics such as the other shore and this shore. Indra asked: Blessed One, this Prajñāpāramitā is the great pāramitā, and the Prajñāpāramitā does not abide in the manner of an object. Thus, by practicing this Prajñāpāramitā, one knows the minds and all the actions of all sentient beings in the relative truth, but in the ultimate truth, there is no object of focus on sentient beings and the names imputed to sentient beings. Thus, one realizes the selflessness of the person imputed by the non-Buddhists, such as the self and sentient beings, and one does not focus on the person and all phenomena such as form.

Because of realizing non-existence, one does not cling to the Dharma. Thus, understanding that both persons and phenomena are without self, it is also the cause of non-attachment. Moreover, in the relative sense, it is also the cause of knowing the minds and all the actions of all sentient beings, because the qualities of both the relative and the ultimate are great. This Prajnaparamita is the Great Paramita, as it is taught. Why is that? Because there is no such nature as that by which one clings, that to which one clings, and that in which one clings. This explains the reason for not clinging to both persons and phenomena. It means that whatever Bodhisattva clings to characteristics and clings, and the Prajnaparamita to which one clings, and the objects to which one clings in whatever world realm, such things do not exist in the ultimate sense. Therefore, Prajnaparamita does not abide in the manner of clinging. This should be connected accordingly. The Blessed One said: Kauśika(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) , it is so, it is so. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, having practiced the Prajnaparamita for a long time in a non-clinging manner, does not even cling to enlightenment, what need is there to mention the Buddha? What need is there to mention the Buddha's Dharma? This praises the fact that the meaning of all Dharmas being non-clinging, as stated by Indra above, is true. It means that because the Bodhisattva practices Prajnaparamita and has long proclaimed the meaning of non-clinging even in previous lives, if even the supreme, unsurpassed enlightenment sought by Bodhisattvas is not clung to, what need is there to mention that other things such as the Buddha and the Buddha's Dharma are not clung to? Thus, the meaning of non-clinging to all Dharmas is summarized and taught. Indra asked: Blessed One, does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practice the Prajnaparamita, or does he not practice other Paramitas? It means that Indra, having heard the extensive explanation of the qualities of Prajnaparamita above, in order to dispel the doubts of the retinue,
