And the unutterable establishment is shown to be non-existent. Subhuti, by that number also, that vehicle is equal to space. Thus, the so-called Mahayana has twenty-four establishments for all the objects of imputation, just as space has no establishment, by the example of space, it is explained that the Mahayana is equal to space, and the meaning to be expressed is concluded and shown. Subhuti, whatever you say like this: Just as space opens up space for all immeasurable and countless beings, so also does the vehicle open up space for immeasurable and countless beings. Saying like this, Just like that, etc., is that Subhuti previously took the example from space, Because of opening up a large space, I say it is Mahayana, the Blessed One briefly stated this meaning. Praising it by saying, Yes, it is true, and then explained in detail with twenty-two explanations the meaning of the Mahayana opening up space for immeasurable and countless beings. Why is that? Subhuti, because there are no sentient beings, one should know that there is no space, etc., in order to explain the reason why it is called Mahayana because of opening up a large space. Just as worldly people mistakenly think that sentient beings, space, and Mahayana are real existences, if they are real existences, then the space of one will be occupied by another, in that case, it will not be possible to open up a large space. However, because none of them are real existences and are invisible, there is no obstacle between them. Because of opening up a large space, it is said to be Mahayana. Why is that? Subhuti, just like this, whether it is sentient beings, or space, or Mahayana, all of these are invisible. This is to explain the reason why sentient beings, space, and Mahayana do not exist. It is explained that all three are invisible in the ultimate truth, so they are not real existences. Why is that? Subhuti, because sentient beings are immeasurable, one should know that space is also immeasurable. Because space is immeasurable, one should know that Mahayana is also immeasurable. Subhuti, by this number also, it is explained that the Mahayana is sentient beings

The so-called "revealing the immeasurable and countless" refers to explaining the reasons why sentient beings, space, and the Mahayana are without objects of focus. If there is an object, it can be said how much of this object there is, and it can be measured. However, since they have no object, it is explained that they are immeasurable. Why is that? Subhuti, it is because all of these, whether sentient beings, space, or the Mahayana, are without objects of focus. This is an explanation of the reasons why sentient beings, space, and the Mahayana are immeasurable, meaning that since they have no objects of focus, they cannot be measured. Why is that? Subhuti, since sentient beings are immeasurable, it should be understood that space is also immeasurable. Since space is immeasurable, it should be understood that the Mahayana is also immeasurable. Subhuti, through this method, it is also explained that the Mahayana is the path to opening the door of immeasurable and countless sentient beings. This is using immeasurable reasons to explain the nature of sentient beings, space, and the Mahayana as being without objects of focus. If an object has a focus, it can be said how much there is, and it can be estimated, but since an object has no focus, it is explained that they are immeasurable. Why is that? Subhuti, it is because all of these, whether sentient beings, space, or the Mahayana, are without objects of focus. This is an explanation of immeasurable reasons, explaining that sentient beings, space, and the Mahayana are immeasurable because they have no objects of focus. This is the first explanation. Subhuti, furthermore, since there are no sentient beings, it should be understood that the Dharma realm is also non-existent, from "it should be understood that the Dharma realm is also non-existent" to "all these non-existent dharmas are without objects of focus." This is based on the absence of sentient beings, space, and the Mahayana, and adds the reasons of the Dharma realm, immeasurability, incalculability, inestimability, and the emptiness of all dharmas, thereby further explaining that the Mahayana is opening the door of opportunity. This is the second explanation. Among them, immeasurability is because there is no object, so it cannot be measured by bushels and scales.
