because of that reason. Agreeable is because the words and sentences are beautiful. Pure is because it arises from the unsurpassed result of transcendence. Immaculate is because it is free from the dormancy of afflictions and all habits. Clear is because the words and letters are pronounced. Sweet and pleasant is because it possesses the qualities of destroying the evil wisdom and views of all non-Buddhists. Worthy of being listened to is because it will definitely produce results after practice. Indestructible is because it cannot be interrupted by all opposing debaters. Pleasant is because it makes one happy. Tame is because it becomes the antidote to desire. Not rough is because it is easy to establish precepts. Not wild is because it shows the true arising of those who have transcended them. Extremely tame is because it shows taming by the three vehicles. Pleasing to the ear is because it becomes the antidote to distraction. Making the body calm is because it leads to obtaining samadhi. Making the mind content is because it leads to obtaining great joy through insight. Making the heart happy is because it cuts off doubt. Generating joy and happiness is because wrong views are cleared away. Completely without suffering is because there is no regret in practice. To be fully known is because it becomes the basis for the perfection of knowledge arising from hearing. To be fully understood is because it becomes the basis for the perfection of knowledge arising from thinking. Completely clear is because the teacher transmits the Dharma without concealment. Making one happy is because those who have already obtained their own benefit are happy. Making one especially happy is because those who have not yet obtained their own benefit have hope. Making all know is because it truly proclaims the inconceivable Dharma. Making one fully understand is because it truly proclaims the conceivable Dharma. Reasonable is because it does not contradict valid cognition ( प्रमाण ,pramāṇa,valid cognition). Related is because it shows how to tame. Without the fault of repetition is because it is not meaningless. The power of the lion's roar is because of non-Buddhists.

It is to make all beings afraid. The sound of the elephant is because the sound is secret and high-pitched. The sound of the dragon is because it is deep. The sound of the dragon king is because it is worth listening to. The song of the Gandharva is because it is beautiful. The sound of the Kalaviṅka bird is because it has the nature of rapid change. The sound of Brahma is because it resounds far away. Hearing the sound of the shangshang bird is because it is an auspicious omen for obtaining all accomplishments. As pleasant as the sound of the lord of the gods is because it should not be violated. The sound of the drum is because it is first and foremost to defeat all demonic attacks. Not complacent because one will not be complacent with praise. Not humble because one will not be discouraged by belittlement. Following all sounds is because one follows all accomplishments and all the characteristics of sounds. Words without mistakes are because one does not speak in forgetfulness. There is nothing incomplete because one is always engaged in the act of taming. Not discouraged because one does not rely on gain and respect. Not timid because there is no fear. Very joyful because hearing it will be very joyful. Universal because it follows the mastery of all places of knowledge. Enlightenment is because it accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings. Continuous because it will not be interrupted. Abundant because it is abundant in various ways. Making all sounds complete is because multiple recognitions of sound arise from one sound. Making all sense faculties satisfied is because one can understand multiple meanings with one word. Not despised because one does as one has vowed. Unchanging because it will not change in the future. Not rash because one does not speak rashly. Famous throughout the entire retinue because it is equally famous among retinues near and far. Possessing all excellent aspects is because it possesses the excellent aspects of worldly and transcendental meanings, as well as all metaphorical dharmas.

For that reason. Subhuti, if the wheel of Dharma of the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha is something that exists, and so on, this is to show that the turning of the wheel of Dharma by the Tathagata is, in reality, the realization that it has no substance. If the turning of the wheel of Dharma were something that exists, then ascetics, Brahmins, gods, demons, Brahma, and so on, all those who hold that all dharmas have substance, could also turn the wheel of Dharma. Since those who hold that things exist cannot turn the wheel, the Tathagata, having realized that the turning of the wheel of Dharma is, in reality, without substance, turned the wheel of Dharma that no one else could turn in a conventional, illusory way, that is what is being shown. Subhuti, if the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha turns the wheel of Dharma for the sake of sentient beings, those sentient beings are something that exists, and so on, this is to show that those sentient beings for whom the wheel of Dharma is to be turned, because they realize that they have no substance in reality, the Great Vehicle will overwhelm the world with gods, humans, and asuras and will arise. If those sentient beings were something that exists, then they would never change from the substance of sentient beings, and those sentient beings would not be able to be completely liberated from the realm of nirvana without remainder. Since those sentient beings are, in reality, without substance, but in the conventional sense, they appear as mere illusions due to delusion, those sentient beings, by turning the wheel of Dharma, will be completely liberated into the realm of nirvana without remainder, that is what is being shown. In this way, it is in order to realize that those dharmas have no substance. The words "The Great Vehicle will overwhelm the world with gods, humans, and asuras and will arise" should also be applied to the preceding ones. Subhuti, what you said, "That vehicle is like the sky," and so on, is like that.
