Ah! The teachings generate knowledge that includes characteristics. Therefore, the objector asks: Isn't the Perfection of Wisdom also characterized by characteristics? The answer is given with "Because all dharmas are without words," etc.: All dharmas are without words, because words cannot show their own nature, they are merely symbolic. Therefore, it should be understood that the Perfection of Wisdom is to be awakened to in order to show the meaning of ultimate truth. If karma is exhausted and afflictions are exhausted, will there still be rebirth? If exhaustion means that birth is also exhausted, then the remaining aggregates will exist until the end of life, and then they will perish on their own, so they will only become enlightenment, but not unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Then, shouldn't the difference between them be explained? This is the question of the objector. The answer is given in three words: All dharmas are without cessation, because the inexhaustible dharmas will not be exhausted, so it should be understood as the Perfection of Wisdom. How is it without cessation? Because abandoning and equality are not definitive, so it is abandoning, and there is no difference. All dharmas refers to all pervasively defiled dharmas. Because of attaining Nirvana, it should be understood as the Perfection of Wisdom. How does one truly know their suchness? It is equal to suchness. If they are equal to suchness in this way, then it is said, "All dharmas do not come," etc. Not coming is spoken of from the future tense. Not going is spoken of from the past tense. Because there is nowhere to come from and nowhere to go to. Not knowing anything is merely self-awareness, because one does not know time. Because of not knowing, going and coming are preceded by knowledge. Therefore, it is said not to be born, extremely not to be born. This alone shows the perfection of the Bodhisattvas' own benefit. Even if this is the perfection of one's own benefit, in the world, because one naturally likes one's own benefit, one also strives for one's own benefit. Benefiting others is difficult, sentient beings...

Because the land is boundless, because it is other, and because there are many wrong conceptions, this is called the debater. Because one does not see self and other, this is the answer given. What is called self and other is differentiation. Because one does not see this, one sees all sentient beings as equal to oneself, this is its meaning. As it is said in the Sutra of the Holy Vimalakirti, even if one generates a view of the aggregates as great as Mount Sumeru, one can generate the mind of enlightenment, and from that, all the Buddha's teachings arise. It is like what is said. After that, how to separately examine the antidote to the difficult thought, that is from "all dharmas are noble arhats" to "because there is no anger, one should follow and know the Prajnaparamita." Among them, first, in order to eliminate the difficult thought that sentient beings are arhats, etc., it is said, "all dharmas are noble arhats," etc. All dharmas are the objects of designation for sentient beings, they are noble arhats. Because their nature is the nature of completely pure dharma. What is called not carrying a burden is because it does not carry a burden because of the nature of non-existence. In order to tame sentient beings, when going to the Buddha fields in the ten directions, in order to eliminate the difficult thought, it is said, "all dharmas are without place and without direction," etc. Because there is no place and no direction. What is called the nature of self is the nature of form, etc., which is suchness nature, it is not in a place, because it is the nature of non-abiding dharma. There is also no direction, because it is indivisible, like space. What is said in order to eliminate the difficult thought of abandoning the suffering of samsara is that when all the dharmas of samsara cease, with the nature of complete pacification, the thought of happiness arises, therefore one should follow and know the Prajnaparamita. Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, they are of the nature of arising and ceasing. Having arisen, they cease, their quick pacification is bliss. This is (what is said). The sound "Oh" is listening.
