It is said that saying there is nothing anywhere is meaningless, so it is not body, speech, and mind, because the spoken and the speaker are invisible. 'All dharmas' etc. is the conclusion. 'Without name, unspeakable' means that those are not in those. By the sound of 'that', it is without and without words. Form and so on have measure, therefore their emptiness and so on also have measure, and therefore the Prajnaparamita that focuses on it also becomes having measure, isn't that undesirable? This is the debater. By 'because all dharmas are immeasurable' etc., the answer is given, saying that all dharmas are immeasurable, because it is immeasurable, like the characteristic of having no thing, therefore dharmas are immeasurable. Just as space has no characteristic of the nature of having no thing, similarly emptiness is also immeasurable, because there is no cutter. Therefore, Prajnaparamita is also undifferentiated. If that is so, then how do these blue and so on of form and so on appear? These are the signs of dharmas, not the substance of dharmas. Because it is separated from the nature of one and many, and it is unreasonable for the nature of non-appearance to appear. The signs of dharmas are also the confused appearance of dharmas, and that is also the nature of appearance, therefore appearance is although there are no those, it appears, because for the confused ones, the sign of non-existence appears. If that is so, then Prajnaparamita is also not established, because it is also not confused, the wisdom with appearance is confused, and the wisdom without appearance has not been experienced even in dreams, this is the debater. By 'because all dharmas are without signs' etc., the answer is given, the signs of all dharmas disappear, knowledge has no appearance and sign. Therefore, because the sign is abandoned, it should be known as Prajnaparamita, like the samadhi of the formless absorption, so it is thought. Then, because the sign of discrimination is abandoned, the realm of dharma is also truly remembered.

If it is not, then it is not Prajñāpāramitā, this is the view of the debater. The answer is given by "in order to ascertain all dharmas," ascertainment refers here to individual discrimination. With the wisdom of individual discrimination, the nature of the complete accomplishment of all dharmas is directly realized, that is the ascertainment of them. Therefore, this, in its essence, is the meaning of what is called Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, by well attending to this, through the sequence of hearing, thinking, and meditating, it is naturally accomplished, without the appearance of accumulation, attending, and also for the suchness of all dharmas, non-elaborate wisdom also arises. That is the individual discrimination of it. If someone asks: what is the meaning of Prajñāpāramitā? The answer is: it is purity. This is unreasonable, because in that case, what is purity? Because there is no self, it is not desired, and because it is destroyed in each moment, it is not mind. If someone asks: is it the continuum of mind? Then, is it inherently impure, or is it pure? If according to the first case, then it is not pure, like polished charcoal. If according to the second case, then it is meaningless. If someone asks: is the dharma-nature of mind pure? This is also unreasonable, because for it, there is no alteration, this is the view of the debater. The answer is given by "because all dharmas are inherently pure" etc., because all dharmas are inherently completely pure, therefore, with that intention, one should accordingly know Prajñāpāramitā, one should accordingly abide. If someone asks: wasn't it said that because it has no alteration, so that is also unreasonable? The answer is: although this was said, it is still unreasonable, because the reason is certain. Although it is only inherently pure, because it is not its nature, it is defiled by the stains of adventitious obscurations, like the sky is obscured by clouds, darkness, and smoke etc. Later, by removing those through Prajñāpāramitā, it will become pure, like the sky after removing clouds etc. Prajñāpāramitā is also taught by the Bhagavan.
