The rest are also for making this the path. Therefore, saying this is not the most important. It is enough to explain it extensively like this. Therefore, the Prajnaparamita is the main teaching in this sutra, not the perfect enlightenment. Therefore, the Prajnaparamita itself has the fruit, and the combination with skillful means is the main thing. This is the meaning of the Ratnakuta Sutra. This is so certain. Moreover, it is said in the Pramanavarttika that it is to obtain the benefit of the person. Therefore, it is also said there that it is for realization, not for mainly proclaiming. Thus, "Thus I have heard," etc. If you ask whose words these are? They are the words of the compiler. It is for the compiler to make the world completely believe. If you ask why not say it? No. Because the words of the Blessed One himself proclaim it. The Blessed One said in the sutra of collecting the Dharma correctly: "Monks, you should collect my true Dharma with 'Thus I have heard.'" If you ask who is the compiler here? Because he is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Vajrapani who lives in the city of Willow Leaves, in order to protect the Rupakaya and Dharma assembly of the Buddhas of the Good Kalpa, so it is said that he is the main follower. In the Vajrapani Abhisheka Sutra, the Dharma was entrusted. Also, the entrustment to the venerable Ananda is for the purpose of residing in the world of the Shravakas, not for the sake of compilation. Because the venerable Ananda always stayed by the side of the Blessed One, he obtained all the hearing and is the compiler of the Vinaya Pitaka of the Shravakas. Similarly, Vajrapani is the compiler of the Vinaya Pitaka of the Bodhisattvas, so it is enough to explain it extensively like this. From the teacher who taught the Dharma after attaining perfect enlightenment, here it is compiled after hearing it himself. Then, in order to indicate the compiler, it is said "hearing."

Explanation. If it is said that it can be established without mentioning "I," because one cannot teach a Dharma that one has not heard oneself. Therefore, mentioning the compiler is necessary, because it was heard by oneself from the Bhagavan, not heard by me from the Guru, etc. Therefore, the word "oneself" indicates that it was heard directly. Therefore, this dispels the doubt that the compiler's hearing is not credible. If it is said that even if it is heard directly, if distraction and wrong views exist, it will become very incredible. Therefore, in order to eliminate this, it is said, "Thus I have heard," meaning that I heard it as it was said, in this way, it refers to the beginning itself, as well as the context and the proximate cause, and the body of the Sutra. Among them, the appearance of the speaker, etc., is the beginning, that is, the place where the speaker and the listener gather, from "Bhagavan" to "Ananda." Among them, the context is "thereafter" and "thus it is said," etc. The proximate cause is "Bhagavan thus taught," etc. The rest is the body of the Sutra. If asked how much you have heard, the answer is "at one time," meaning at one time. This has the meaning of arousing respect for the Dharma in the beings to be tamed, and it also shows that the Bhagavan only spoke once, and that oneself can also remember it. Also, in the Sutra Pitaka it is said, "Thus I have heard, my Dharma should be truly compiled," this is using one aspect of words to represent all the words, that is, "Thus I have heard, at one time." This is like "entering into food," meaning that one realizes that one eats after entering the house. Without a beginning there is no speaker, therefore, the beginning is from "Bhagavan" to "Venerable Ananda," connected to "Bhagavan abides." Because he has conquered the four Maras, he is the Bhagavan, or because he has the ability to conquer the four Maras with wisdom, he is the Bhagavan. Also,
