Whatever it is, both are unattainable, and no dharma is attainable either. This absence of birth or cessation is the patience of bodhisattvas with regard to the unborn dharmas. If one possesses it, one will not turn back from perfect complete enlightenment, there one will be prophesied, and from being immersed in it, one will become perfectly completely enlightened. This is called the third increase. From "I beseech you, Blessed One" to "will never completely diminish" is what was spoken. For the sake of the non-arising and arising of all dharmas, will a bodhisattva be prophesied to perfect complete enlightenment? No. Whatever is prophesied, and whatever is perfectly completely awakened, all of that is unattainable. Because the Prajñāpāramitā is non-conceptual. This is called the fourth increase. From "Subhuti beseeches" to "non-conceptual" is what was spoken. If one holds this profound Prajñāpāramitā, diligently in suchness, not giving other opportunities to mind and mental factors, up to the attainment of unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, this is called the fifth increase. From "Then, the Lord of Gods" to "is not learning the learning of a solitary buddha" is what was spoken. Thus, the bodhisattva who studies will draw near from the Four Great Kings up to Akanistha, and the Tathagatas will also remember them. Suffering and harmful thoughts, such as being overwhelmed by others, will not arise, this is called the sixth increase. From "Thus studying" and so on to "has been blessed" is what was spoken. When that bodhisattva is not separated from the Prajñāpāramitā, at that time the maras will be pierced by the arrow of sorrow, and in order to create obstacles for him, they will send down falling stars and create fear, this is called the seventh increase. From "Ananda, when" to "those to be completely liberated"

The place spoken of is: A Bodhisattva, for a Bodhisattva vehicle practitioner, should abide in equality with his friend who has entered the same vehicle. Just as this person should study what Dharma, so should I also study. Thus, from the Paramitas to the All-Knowing, all emptiness and the nature of all Dharmas in all emptiness should be studied. This is called the eighth augmentation, which is what is spoken of from "Joyful Request" etc., to "Manifestly Attaining Enlightenment." A Bodhisattva should not study for the sake of eliminating, being free from attachment, stopping, or abandoning any Dharma. The Dharma nature of Dharmas has no elimination, freedom from attachment, cessation, or abandonment. Studying in this way is studying Suchness. Studying from the Paramitas to the All-Knowingness. Studying in this way will obtain the most excellent Paramita of all studies, and will cross over with all sentient beings' mental activities. This is called the ninth augmentation, which is what is spoken of from "Request, Blessed One" etc., to "Will cross over." Just as the place on the great earth where Jambudvipa river gold is produced is rare, so too are sentient beings who study the Prajnaparamita extremely rare. From "Abiding in the Hearer's Ground" etc., is the tenth augmentation, which is what is spoken of from "Subhuti, thus" etc., to "Extremely many." Those sentient beings who do not depart from the Prajnaparamita, therefore those who subdue the irreversible ground are extremely few, while those who cannot subdue it are extremely many. This is called the eleventh augmentation, which is what is spoken of from "Subhuti, thus" etc., to "Should study." In this, by practice, one does not generate a mind that is incompatible with the Prajnaparamita, a mind that possesses the defilements of attachment, hatred, and ignorance. This is called the twelfth augmentation, which is from "Subhuti, furthermore" etc., to "Does not generate mind."

Therefore, what is said from the word "that" until (the end) is: From "not having form" to "having complete and perfect enlightenment," not generating the mind, because those are without object of focus. This is called the thirteenth increase. What is said from "having what" etc., until "all gathered" is: Just as the sixty-two wrong views are gathered in the view of the corruptible collection, the Prajñāpāramitā is called all pāramitās, this is the fourteenth increase. What is said from "Subhuti, for example" etc., until "should be learned" is: The Blessed One has attained the state of accomplishing the benefit of self and others perfectly, and does not manifest the fruit of the lesser vehicle, this is the fifteenth increase. What is said from "Subhuti" to "manifestly awaken" is: Here, in this Prajñāpāramitā, attaining the aspect of all suchness, is called without object of focus, and through this or through what or through that, it is definitely arisen, through that it is without object of focus, this is the sixteenth increase. What is said from "Subhuti" etc., until "is practice" is: Having thus proclaimed the increase, then to make it stable, taking control. Not abandoning the benefit of sentient beings, the omniscient Dharma has three aspects, complete and unsurpassed, it is manifestly proclaimed as stable. Thus it is said: The omniscient Dharma has three aspects, namely the Buddha Dharma, the self-arisen Dharma, and the unseizable Dharma, whatever is complete and unsurpassed, at that time not abandoning the benefit of sentient beings, at that time it is called stable. So, how is it not abandoning? Having crossed over oneself, one should liberate sentient beings who have not crossed over. Having liberated oneself, one should liberate those who have not liberated. Having brought oneself out, one should bring out those who have not brought out. Having completely passed into nirvana oneself, one should lead those who have not completely passed into nirvana into nirvana. From then on, starting with the prayer of Indra, the lord of the gods, etc., until completely
