Because of perfect enlightenment, it is called Buddha. Here, the term "all dharmas" refers to all the dharmas of the Buddha, because they are excellent. As for "manifestly and perfectly enlightened," the word "perfect" refers to enlightenment itself. "Manifestly" means that itself is without remainder, meaning knowing that is devoid of all elaboration. "As it is" refers to the nature of reality that is extremely pure. "Called Buddha" means wanting to speak generally, so it is one word. If it is only by realization that one is a Buddha, then by whom is it known? Whose are those dharmas? Because they are close. From where does "devoid of all elaboration and as it is" come? From the general term, the distinction can also be understood. Here, the collection of dharmas is the complete enjoyment body of the Buddha, extremely pure. The extremely pure nature of reality of the Buddhas is the self-nature body, therefore it is called Buddha. From Subhūti's question to Bodhi, it is a wrong conception about the Dharma Jewel, because the unsurpassed Bodhi is the Dharma Jewel because it is supremely purified from all dharmas. Therefore, what is said, "Bodhi," etc., "which is the nominal term?" is a wrong conception. Thinking that if only realization or excellent wisdom is Bodhi, then these two dharmas are not particularly excellent from all dharmas. The following sutra is the answer, so-called Bodhi is emptiness, because it is clear by being separated from all the elaborations of all dharmas, otherwise it will be too extreme. The so-called "that is just a nominal term" means a nominally established name, and the so-called "not the meaning" is the meaning. Or the non-dual meaning is the meaning of Bodhi, like this, because all dharmas are truly realized, therefore it is Bodhi, and those are the nature of emptiness, clear without distinction. Or Bodhi is not just realization, then what is it? Bodhi is the nature of all dharmas.

Yes. Its suchness abides in its very nature as it is. The so-called "unerring suchness" refers to being free from all elaborations and completely without inversion. The so-called "non-other suchness," where "other" refers to the dependent nature other than the imputed. Its suchness is the essence of suchness, the distinct appearances of the imputed nature. It itself is free from the nature of delusion, therefore it is not the suchness of another. The so-called "not changing into other forms" refers to merely recognizing one's own nature, while the recognition of the false remnants caused by the habits of ignorance is changing into other forms. Liberation from the exhaustion of habits is not changing into other forms, therefore it shows that it appears as emptiness with all of these, therefore it is called "that itself is enlightenment." The so-called "enlightenment, this is merely a name and a sign," what does the word "enlightenment" express? It expresses merely a name and a sign, it expresses the plural word of the non-form aggregates. Because it is both name and sign, it is name and sign. Saying sign is to cut off causeless, non-corresponding formations. Therefore, the word name and sign expresses the enlightenment of the nature pervaded by name and sign, enlightenment is merely name and sign, merely various distinctions, that is enlightenment. The word "merely" is the meaning that must be grasped. It means that enlightenment is the only one, not the object of realization and the subject of realization. Like this, the various is merely realization, realizing the emptiness of the object of realization and the subject of realization, that is the truly manifest enlightenment. Why is it called "various"? It is for the sake of universal reasoning. How is it the meaning of "merely"? Just as one can understand the meaning that must be grasped from a single word, such as "just drink water," because the meaning of "just" lies in the thing becoming the main thing. Why is it called "truly manifest"? It is because of implication, otherwise those without realization would also become the fault of enlightenment. That is Buddha.

That which is called the Bodhi of all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, is Bodhi because it is to be understood. That is also the Tathagata's speech that has reached the ultimate perfection of Bodhi. That is also the manifestation of Suchness in which the differences of all dharmas have disappeared, therefore Bodhi is only emptiness. That is the complete enlightenment of the Buddhas, therefore it is called Bodhi, and the sound of Bodhi is only the accomplishment of the deed. Complete enlightenment, therefore it is called the sound of Bodhi, is reality, and the sound of manifestation is said to be without remainder, which means knowing by being separated from all confusion. Being separated from all confusion is to obtain the ultimate perfection from the sound of Bodhi, and to obtain all dharmas by the reason of pervasiveness, therefore Bodhi is only emptiness, and that is the Dharma Jewel. Please ask. From the Bhagavat, etc., to the point of not becoming pure in this way, it is a wrong conception of the Sangha Jewel. Here, the Bodhisattva Sangha is the Sangha Jewel, and all those who generate Bodhicitta are Bodhisattvas, and all of them are included in the Sangha Jewel. That is also not established by reason, the meaning of non-discrimination is the meaning of the Sangha. If they do not practice the Paramitas, etc., without cause, from where does their Bodhi come? If they practice, from where does Bodhi come with non-objectivity? If they practice in a non-dual way, the root of virtue for the sake of Bodhi will not increase, this is a wrong conception. The answer here is that if one practices with duality, the root of virtue does not increase, but if one practices with non-duality, it increases, and from those who have increased, the Maras, etc., cannot be overcome, and those who are destroyed by non-virtue fall into inferior Bodhi, therefore those who are not destroyed by them are counted among the Sangha Jewel, as it is said, starting from the decisive part of the limb, on the paths of seeing and meditation, where the Bodhisattvas abide, that
