That is faith and aspiration, the nature of belief and desire. If asked where to have faith and understanding? It is to have no doubts about the Bhagavati Mother mentioned in the sutras, and to practice her conduct such as reading, and to offer her flowers and other offerings up to the end of the lamps. The merit arising from practice and offerings, its reason is also as stated in the sutras. Offering a stupa of seven precious jewels for the relics of the Buddha's body, or offering a container of seven precious jewels, the merit of offering to this is the first, which is more than that merit. As stated in the sutras, Bodhi is difficult to realize for the lazy, the unenthusiastic, those with weak faith, those with low thoughts, and those with perverse wisdom. The rest is the same, one should especially know the merit, this is the second. For the Bhagavati Mother, repeatedly performing practice and offerings, and the remaining practices of properly attending to the Dana Paramita and others contained therein, the merit is even more excellent, this is the third. The so-called not being separated from the mind of all-knowing wisdom is the difference. The rest is the same as the third, building a stupa of seven precious jewels of one yojana, and making offerings in this way, the merit increases even more from this merit, this is the fourth. The fifth and so on are all the same as the fourth, the difference is that the merit increases because of faith in it. As stated in the fourth, filling the entire Jambudvipa with stupas, this is the fifth. The so-called world of the four continents, this is the sixth. The so-called one thousand, this is the seventh. The so-called two thousand, this is the eighth. The so-called three thousand great thousand worlds, this is the ninth. These nine are for one's own benefit, to know that through this merit, I will accomplish extremely many qualities. After that, the nine are for the benefit of oneself and others, to know that my merit will bring extremely many benefits to myself and others. The Bhagavati Mother is the true cause of all noble beings, because of greater faith and greater faith in merit, beings in the ten directions of the world say so.

For each stupa that is mentioned, the merit of honoring it does not even come close to one hundredth part of the merit of honoring the Blessed Mother, and it is even unbearable. This is the first aspiration for the benefit of oneself and others. By reciting "Prajnaparamita, seize it," etc., all evils in the world will completely disappear, etc., such a superior aspiration is the second. As it is said in the sutra, the Blessed Mother herself is the guide of all the Buddha's teachings, such a superior aspiration is reasonable and complete, this is the third. By holding the Blessed Mother, etc., one becomes equal to the Tathagata. Whether it is the wisdom of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, or the aggregates of morality, etc., none of them can compare to even one hundredth part of her aggregates of morality, etc., and it is even unbearable, such a superior aspiration is the fourth. If one diligently practices and makes offerings to the Blessed Mother, hundreds of thousands of gods will come to listen, and they will feel joyful. For them, the Blessed Mother will also provide protection, rescue, and concealment. Therefore, for all dharmas that are without object, from where does fear arise, who fears, and what is fear, this is the fifth aspiration. Doing so is to please all noble beings, gods, humans, and asuras, this is the sixth. Joyfulness means not being robbed, giving not being robbed, etc., up to the omniscient wisdom itself. Subduing the heretics with the true Dharma, this is the seventh. Some sons of gods in the ten directions who have generated the aspiration for enlightenment should be given this Dharma teaching. After generating such a mind, they will come here, practice and make offerings, and then leave after being protected, rescued, and concealed, this is the eighth. He will see a vast light, or know that the gods have come from the fragrance of the heavens, and then he

The earth deity himself should also possess pure conduct. That pure land should also be spread with fragrant flowers. As stated in the sutra, one will also obtain many benefits, this is the ninth. After that, the intention for the benefit of others is only ninefold, because at that time one strives only for the benefit of others. In this regard, having made offerings with all necessities to the Buddhas of the ten directions and the Sangha of Hearers, and having each built stupas made of the seven precious materials for those who have completely passed into Nirvana, the Sangha of Hearers, the merit of offering in that way, is less than the merit increased by offering to the Blessed Mother, what need is there to mention practice and offering? This is the first of the intentions for the benefit of others. If one were to entrust the relics of the Tathagata filling Jambudvipa, and also give a scripture written with the Blessed Mother, I would rather accept this. In this way, merely arising from this (Blessed Mother), one obtains the offerings to them, because the Blessed Mother is the giver of all the Buddha's teachings. Non-graspable is because of no self-nature, it is not that one does not strive for anything, because it is non-dual. Therefore, all the Buddha's teachings and all emptiness are non-dual with the Blessed Mother, they are inseparable, this is the second. By revering and offering to the Blessed Mother, one will not fall into lower realms, nor will one regress from Bodhi, and one will not be separated from maturing sentient beings, going to various Buddha-fields, making various reverent offerings to the Buddhas, this is the third. If one were to find the relics of the Tathagata filling the three thousand great thousand worlds, and the Blessed Mother written on a scripture, one should take the latter. The happiness of good rebirths and the perfection of the three Bodhis that are obtained from offering to relics arise from the Blessed Mother. Whoever sees the Blessed Mother sees the Buddha, the Tathagata and the Blessed One.
