Like a lotus, in order to proceed happily into the non-abiding nirvana without falling into the extremes of samsara and nirvana. Like an adorned river with dharanis and individual correct knowledge, because it endlessly holds all the doctrines that have been heard and not heard. Like a lute with the giving of dharma, because it sweetly proclaims to those who desire liberation, together with the cause of liberation. Like a river stream with the path of the One Vehicle, because it accomplishes the benefit of others without distinction. Like a cloud with the Dharmakaya, because it truly sees the benefit of sentient beings in places such as Tushita, and then pours down a rain of nectar. Among them, the ground of the first karma practitioner is truly summarized in three ways. The first ground is truly summarized by the path of great entry, one. The ten grounds, such as the Joyful Ground, are truly summarized by the ten grounds of the path of seeing and the path of meditation. The special path is truly summarized by five. The Buddha ground is truly summarized in three ways by the distinction of application, main part, and conclusion. Generating the mind of enlightenment has twenty-two aspects. After explaining the generation of the mind of enlightenment, instructions should be stated. After generating the mind of enlightenment according to the ritual, learning the actions from a virtuous friend is the instruction. That is also explained in ten ways by the distinction of place: practice and truths, the Three Jewels such as the Buddha, non-attachment, complete non-weariness, complete acceptance of the path, the five eyes and the six qualities of clairvoyance, the path of seeing, and what is called meditation, know that the instructions are of ten natures. Among them, practice and so on, means that from the beginning of generating the mind of enlightenment according to the ritual, until the state of Buddhahood itself, truly relying on all white dharmas, learning the commonalities, and the special combinations mentioned in armor, entry, accumulation, and definite arising that will be explained separately, seeing, meditation, and the four special natures are practice. Truly understanding the characteristics of practice that have been spoken is the instruction of practice.

pa'o. Knowing the truths is the four noble truths, namely suffering, origin, cessation, and path. Suffering is the aggregates such as form that have become the result, which are completely included in the sentient world that has become the result. Origin is the same as this, the aggregates such as form that have become the cause of producing suffering, which are completely included in the sentient being that has become the cause. Cessation is the exhaustion of suffering, nirvana, unborn, unceasing, unconditioned, not contradictory to karma, afflictions and birth, completely destroying all fears, the cause of all perfections, the nature of being separated from all existents, called the established difference of things, which is considered nirvana. The path is the cause of cessation, namely right view and so on, the eightfold noble path with the nature of ethics, concentration and wisdom, called the truth of the path, which is the Vaibhashika. Here, a Bodhisattva should know that all the expressions of things, which are the nature of grasping and the grasped, such as the four noble truths, as conceptualized by the Vaibhashikas and others, are without self-nature in the ultimate sense, and in the conventional sense, everything appears. Samsaric beings, learners, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, perfectly enlightened Buddhas, Nirvana, and even if there is a Dharma that is more excellent than that, all of these should be understood as being without self-nature and established conventionally through the way of conceptualization. Because all those Dharmas abide in the state of completely transformed nature, free from grasping and the grasped, and appearing clearly in their respective aspects. Moreover, the completely transformed consciousness, the state of samsara associated with afflictions, as a result, is the truth of suffering. The same completely transformed, the same as this, as the cause of the next world, is the truth of origin. The same completely transformed, having names and metaphors, brilliantly shining, without faults and with merits,
