Impermanence! And so on, are the explanations. "To be viewed in that way" means to understand it as merely the meaning of a moment. "Because the order of meditation and so on is not shown" means that if, as they say, it is merely a difference of moments, then at that time the order of gradual cultivation of the path of seeing would not be shown at all, and so on. The word "and so on" includes the meaning that the order of mental activity when not in meditative equipoise is also not shown. Other faults include: the mention of the object of observation and the aspects, etc., actually contradicts your own scriptures. In that case, this is the sixteen aspects and the great, medium, and small, but not the dharma of a moment. "Those to be tamed who should be forgotten are very few" means refuting much talk by arguing about what is the cause of opening this path of meditation, or, which of those to be tamed can be said to abide in the cause of this path, those are very few, extremely rare, thus showing that this path is difficult to obtain. Also, in order to make those to be tamed inclined towards the fruit, it means that for the path of meditation that is the fruit, through faith and mental activity, etc., they should be made to enter into it. For this purpose, these six initial actions should incline and enter into it, thus showing the cause of the arising of the path, thereby instructing them. The difference between contaminated and uncontaminated is mainly being associated with and separated from conceptual thought. The meaning summarized here is that faith and dedication, as well as rejoicing and mental activity, etc., are combined with the subsequent wisdom of the pure worldly state, while realization is the wisdom of meditative equipoise. Those are also correspondingly possessed by the Hearers, etc., so the realization as a special feature is completely pure. Others think that from the stainless ground to the seventh ground is the contaminated path of meditation, while the eighth ground and so on are the path of realization, as the antidote to the opposing side, what is the ordinary path of all meditation will be explained later, that is the continuous mind.

Therefore, small, medium, and large, as well as the differences such as small of small, that is considered to be nine forms. This is what is taught. Complete purification is actually just the explanation of the fruit of the path of cultivation and the manifestation of the time of cause, and the difference of the long self. Therefore, this is teaching that it belongs to the limb of the path of cultivation, and forms and so on are taught elsewhere, they say. No matter how those are, each ground also says there are nine times nine forms. When saying "conviction is twenty-seven kinds," here the cause of conviction is the pure scripture, and the reason is the view. The nature of this is to hold onto the determined object as it is. From this, doubt is dispelled, that is, the one with conviction cannot be taken away from their own doctrine by others. What is the difference? For one's own sake, to have faith in the Mother; for the sake of others; and for the sake of both, to have great faith in this Mother. The first is, acting like this, in the manner of "I want happiness," it arises without effort for oneself, because one has been extremely familiar with it since beginningless samsara. Bodhisattvas, when this mind first arises, in the manner of equality of self and others or exchange of self and others, with the order of pleasing sentient beings through mindfulness and so on, prevent focusing for their own sake, and apply that for others, and in the later mind after that, by the power of things, like a monkey released from the neck, there arises a certainty of knowing that the meaning of both self and others can be accomplished, unlike the previous ones, saying "is" is not there. Some say that here, for one's own sake, it is for a long time. Starting from the immovable ground, it is for the sake of others, because on that ground, abiding in extreme peace for one's own sake, for the sake of being urged by the Buddhas who have completely fulfilled only for the sake of others. The tenth ground is for the sake of both self and others, because abiding on this ground, because of this reason, because of this reason, it is taught as Buddha. In order to count the twenty-seven kinds, first assuming that for one's own sake, faith is small of small, that is, this victorious Mother as stated in the scriptures.
