It is said that "having courage" etc., is to say that the special dedication is especially trusting in selflessness, and for the benefit of all sentient beings, it is superior to the Shravakas etc. Moreover, its supreme function is to achieve the Bodhi of oneself and others. The so-called "aspect of no object" etc., refers to the mind that acts on the generation of Bodhicitta etc. for oneself, others, and both, and is called the mind of special trust. The objects of the mind of trust and dedication, for those who dwell in the previous and subsequent states, because they are all Bodhicitta etc., there is no difference in the objects, and with this intention, the aforementioned "no object" etc. are mentioned. If asked, which of the differences in trust mentioned above is without object? The answer is: it is without object, that is, it has the aspect of no object. This is also the mind of complete dedication, which is called without object. Without the inverted views of self-view etc., it is not inverted, and it is the nature of not being inverted. That's what it says. Because there is no grasping etc., it is peaceful. The so-called "Tathagata" etc. shows the meaning of Buddha etc. Because it has no discouragement etc., it has skillful means. Because it is not attached to giving etc., it is without characteristics. Because it is pleasing to the Buddha, it is permitted by the Buddha. Because there is no attachment to the desire realm etc., it does not belong to the three realms, so it is said that it "has means" etc. Small, medium, and large, Other dedications are of three kinds, which has already been said. Because it is the nature of generating merit that is superior to all, it is the nature of great merit arising. That is to say, great merit etc. has already been said. In this way, the mind established by name, the twelve minds of complete dedication named without object etc., with non-attachment as the object, for sentient beings who are tamed by the three vehicles, those minds can closely show the function of the nature of the cause of the path, and the minds of those who have these functions.

In order to make the benefit of all sentient beings inexhaustible, and in order to increase Bodhi, dedication is made with twelve kinds of dedication. For the dedication mind that takes non-objectification as its object, it refers to what is said such as "in order." Supreme Bodhi is Buddhahood itself. The aggregates such as morality refer to the uncontaminated morality and meditation, etc. With what mind is dedication made, having the basis endowed with its own nature, etc., refers to the aggregate of afflictions of the conceptual thoughts of self and others. The virtue of the Buddhas of the three times refers to the merit of the Buddhas who have appeared, will appear, and are appearing now. Giving, etc., and characteristics refer to the cause of Buddhahood such as the object of giving. All paths refer to the three vehicles. The realms such as desire refer to the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. The paths of action such as the ten virtues refer to abstaining from killing, etc. Stream-enterer, etc., refers to stream-enterer and once-returner, etc. Those who abide in the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, refers to what is said such as the special dedication made by Bodhisattvas. The meaning of this is that, as before, with faith arising, etc., with the intention of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, non-objectification, etc., in order for sentient beings to attain perfect enlightenment in the order of the three vehicles, that root of virtue should be dedicated. The verses and explanations of rejoicing in the path of meditation are easy to understand. The cause of being deprived of the Dharma refers to the causes of not obtaining listening to the Dharma, etc. Since it is a time of extreme purity, purity is general, that is, in the manner of what is the conventional truth, that is considered the ultimate truth, as it is said, obtaining in that way, etc. The meaning of the verses such as pure fruit refers to noble beings, etc., the noble being refers to the hearer.
