Because it depends on that. Correctly reciting the names, it is not appropriate to ignore the external contradictions. My efforts are not untimely, and in the time of the decline of the Dharma, we who are delighted to make offerings to the Bhagavan should not ignore it. As the Samadhiraja Sutra says: "If a great man abandons practice when the Dharma is destroyed, he has not revered the Buddhas, nor has he made paintings for the guides." This is what is said. It is enough to mention it in passing. The verses and explanations such as "He is also like that" are easy to understand. First, "good deeds and non-good deeds" refers to beings of the Brahmin and Kshatriya castes, as well as beings of the Vaishya caste, etc. Attachment to this is attachment to good and non-good themselves. Not abiding in this is non-objectification, and with this as a characteristic, performing the activity of pacifying beings, it is said: "The thought of suffering and reversal, and the cause of binding samsara, if it does not exist in any being, then he will not be born again." This follows the meaning of the sutra, that is, eliminating the birth caused by afflictions and so on. As the Dharma Samgraha Sutra says: "The body of the one to be tamed is the realm of activity of the Dharmakaya." Therefore, it should be understood that even the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas can prevent birth. If so, what is the difference between the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in terms of aspiration and benefiting beings? It lies in the difference between conceptual thought and non-conceptual thought, as well as the difference of those to be tamed, and there is nothing else. Therefore, in the Tathagata Guhyasamgraha Sutra and other sutras, it is said: "They are also like the Buddha, with infinite and immeasurable bodies and activities." The wisdom of the perfect Buddha is not entirely without conceptual thought, how can they be equal in acting for the benefit of beings together with them? Here, only aspiration is the measure, the Bhagavan with the Bodhisattva

Bodhisattvas are said to have the power of aspiration. If so, then everything will only be equal. Aspiration is not appropriate in other ways, what fault is there? The perfect Buddhas are non-conceptual, wouldn't the Bodhisattvas' conceptualization not become afflictions? Not at all, when he becomes a perfect Buddha for the benefit of the beings to be tamed, from where do the afflictions of conceptualization arise later? From aspiration. If so, is the perfect Buddha himself false? No, because those who are tamed see it that way. Similarly, manifesting the appearance of Shravakas and so on is also not false, it should be viewed in this way. How does one become many? From how the aspirations of the perfect Buddhas come about. Furthermore, in other aspects, the aspirations of the Buddhas appear as the cause of accomplishing all beneficial activities with non-conceptual nature, similarly, even if it is with conceptualization, what contradiction is there here? Because it is praised that both only accomplish beneficial activities through aspiration. If, according to the opponent's intention, some accomplish Buddhahood and benefit sentient beings, while others do not, it should not be argued about this, because they are not sentient beings. Because it is the perfect Buddha, therefore here conceptualization is affliction, what is the liberation of the Bodhisattvas? Apart from benefiting sentient beings, there is nothing else, from the liberation of sentient beings, what is the ocean of happiness? Isn't that the ultimate? What is the use of tasteless liberation? As it is said. Not abiding in equanimity is also not the case, except for the initial practitioner, in the teaching of the Tathagata's secret, it is said that one always abides in equanimity. Or, apart from the stage of the Bodhisattva, even in the stage of the perfect Buddha, the afflictions of conceptualization exist similarly to omniscience, but do not produce fruit, so they do not accomplish benefit.

Therefore, the venerable Shantideva said: 'Like the Garuda of space being accomplished, after a stupa is built and passes away, even if it has been gone for a long time, it can pacify poisons and other calamities. Because it is in accordance with the conduct of Bodhi, even if a stupa of the Victorious One is built and a Bodhisattva passes away, it will accomplish all purposes.' This is what was said. If that is the case, aren't all the aspirations made for the benefit of sentient beings and the conceptualizations of entering into perfect enlightenment all becoming afflictions? What fault is there? Will it become without the lineage of a perfect Buddha? Bodhisattvas themselves gradually become the lineage of the Buddha, not others. Having made aspirations such as 'May I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of beings,' it is because they are entering into those very things. Therefore, the lineage of Shravakas and others is not different either, because it is not permissible to have anything other than making aspirations for the benefit of sentient beings. Here, the vehicle is only one, that is, the Great Vehicle, as it is said. And the Ornament of Sutras also says: 'For the sake of leading some, for the sake of gathering others, the perfect Buddhas show the one vehicle to those who are uncertain.' This is also what is said in the sutras that hundreds of them completely pass into Nirvana in the Shravaka vehicle. Therefore, since conceptualization itself is an affliction, only Bodhisattvas, those who are tamed by it, such as perfect Buddhas, solitary realizers, and Indra, etc., are seen by the disciples in the form of Indra, etc., for those who are to be tamed. Because of the nature of not abiding anywhere, it is said everywhere that they enter into the Nirvana of non-abiding. The conceptualization of Bodhisattvas is itself an affliction. Having spoken of what comes incidentally, it should be combined with the occasion. 'Thus,' is the order of speaking. 'Like the Dharmakaya' means it is the nature of pervasive wisdom. This is also the twenty-seven activities of the Dharmakaya. 'Activity' is the deed of the Dharmakaya. 'Desiring as long as Samsara exists' means mind.
