So, like "although it is like that" etc., it means that just having, like faith etc., just having it, does not attain the unsurpassed Bodhi, nor is it generated in the conventional sense. Why is that? This is the nature of Dharma. Because this path of Bodhi is inconceivable, therefore, those with sharp and clear great faith, who have practiced continuously upwards for countless eons, reaching the ultimate, it is easy to realize the complete and perfect enlightenment, it should be understood in this way. And for those who are dull, like "those themselves" etc., it means that for those who cannot manifest, when faith etc. are weak, it is difficult to realize, difficult to understand. Here, just having faith etc., and from "those themselves" mentioned, there are indeed two kinds of methods of Bodhi, therefore it is mentioned like "that is through implication" etc. Here, the difference between the three Bodhis is shown through the difference between great, medium, and small wisdom. Therefore, the complete Bodhi can be manifested through the great of the great. Even if faith etc. other than that are not mentioned, but by the power of its wisdom, those who only obtain medium and small Bodhi, their actions of Pratyekabuddha and Shravaka Bodhi, cannot be changed, therefore in all Mahayana, these two Bodhis are considered to be the opposite of complete Bodhi, it should be understood in this way. Like "saying this" etc., is expressed through implication. Like "the warm ones" etc., the verses that are in accordance with the decisive part, are explained by like "all ways" etc., that is, there is no bad way, and thinking about the meaning of the present and the future, and destroying arrogance, and no obvious harm, therefore in order, are the five minds like "equality" etc. Mentions like "the minds of those parents" etc. Mentions like "the realization of the peak" etc., mentions like "in short" etc. "In short" is not dependent on differences. Non-virtue refers to greed etc. Virtue refers to the opposite of this, from the perspective of loss and gain, that is, through the power of abandoning and accepting, making others away from sin.

Applying to those who abide in sin and virtue is to cause them to be properly held. Since virtue and non-virtue are two, they are of two kinds. Likewise, for those who have entered, turning oneself and others away from sin and applying to virtue is to act in accordance with praising others. Since speaking praise and acting in accordance are two, they are of two kinds. Since those to be applied to, the applier, and its object are limitless, the kinds are truly limitless, therefore, the various distinctions of the Dharma there are spoken of. Thus, focusing on sentient beings and making them the object is to become the peak. One's own actions and so forth have already been spoken of. Becoming the peak and so forth is the explanation of oneself and others and so forth. Like before and so forth is the explanation of the supreme Dharma being thus and so forth. Furthermore, these that are in accordance with the aspect of ascertainment each become three kinds through the distinctions of small, medium, and large. Among them, the small warmth is equal and loving mind, because at that time there is no harming of others. The medium is with the three minds of benefit and so forth, because it is the intention to benefit others in the future. The large is with the generation of the mind like a father and so forth, because at that time it is taught that one desires to accomplish the wishes of others in this and future lives. The small belonging to the peak is the application of oneself and others turning away from sin, because one desires to turn away from the stream of suffering of others. The medium is with generosity and so forth, oneself and others abiding, because it is manifest that one desires to apply to the cause of virtue of others. The large is from meditating on the two kinds of dependent arising, oneself and others entering, because one desires to abandon the inverted thought of the happiness and suffering of others. Patience is spoken of as small, medium, and large, in order, until sentient beings enter the faultlessness of a Bodhisattva, thus others are superior.
