It is because it is able to do so. Who is it? It is Vasubandhu. Because he makes his own faith the main thing. That is to say, because he is manifestly attached to his own tenets. What is called 'discrimination' is explanation, following what is called the Great Treatise. It belongs to the category of the noble ones. It is because he has attained samadhi. What is called 'liberation' is because it is the very nature of particularly believing in selflessness. With the mind abiding in the Middle Way, it is the wisdom of the Middle Way that abandons extremes such as existence and non-existence, and distinguishes the Great Treatise. If it has already been distinguished in the past, is this not reasonable? It says: Because he did not see what was done by them. It is said that if one knows that the commentaries made by the teachers mentioned in the past are treatises of mere consciousness, and that they are approaches that go with their own nature, then they are not as they are. Therefore, the group of liberation, with the power of particularly believing in selflessness, destroys all the tenets of the non-Buddhist, and by illuminating the wisdom of the nature of the words of the lama who is in accordance with himself, explains the Great Treatise. So connect it with the previous text. Thinking thus: If the wisdom of the Blessed Mother is the nature of existence, then by clinging to existence, it will not become true liberation, and the treatise will also become provisional. The nature of the illusory non-dual wisdom is the nature of the word as it is, so it is easy to understand the explanation, and because there is no manifest attachment to extremes such as existence and non-existence, it will become true liberation. That is also as it says in the *Entering the Middle Way*: 'The path taught by Nagarjuna is not a means of pacifying externalists. It falls away from the truth of conventional reality. Because it falls away from that, there is no liberation.' And: 'The suchness of the Middle Way is only reasonable for its own kind.' It also says here: 'Even in the state of ordinary beings, one hears of emptiness. One repeatedly obtains inner joy. The eyes born from joy are moistened with tears. The hair of the body also rises.' That is what is said. The oral transmission of the noble Asanga and,

Therefore, like Maitreya, there is no fault in realizing for the benefit of sentient beings by the power of one's own mind. Also, the meaning of "merely in accordance with oneself" refers to the "Liberation Section" and so on mentioned later. Because faith alone has become the basis, it is the ground, meaning to abide therein. Possessing faith, the Blessed One said that by faith one will abandon the leisureless states. "Without finding all the treatises" means that all the explanatory treatises mentioned earlier were not personally heard or seen from the author. Or, the treatises explained in the Dharma Abhidhamma Pitaka and so on were not found. Now, because it is in accordance with the previously mentioned explanation. "The great self of one's own intelligence" refers to what is said such as "Thus the wise," "Thus" refers to the reason as it is. "Manifested by the wise" refers to the lamp of discriminating wisdom arranged by the noble Asanga and others. "Some people" refers to the wise ones other than myself who are equally abiding. "All treatises" refers to the well-known treatises. "Not found" means not seen or heard. "Finding this" means finding and clearly pointing out the treatise, "The nature of true wisdom" refers to the remainder. Even if it is not so, because one has seen various treatises, making the mouth of wisdom completely open, the ability to see the various meanings of the essential concise treatises is amazing. If that is the case, will there be no opportunity for the meaningful classifications of others? No, because it says "Therefore, it is very difficult to find" and so on. "Very difficult to find" means that it can only be obtained by accumulating merit. "Having a profound path" refers to how the eight realizations were understood by Maitreya, because they are grasped by selflessness, those who are unreasonable cannot ascertain them, and from some perspective, they are obtained by the blessing of the Buddha.
