That which accomplishes the benefit of all beings through the very nature of realizing the unbornness of all grounds and paths, and that which possesses the comprehension of the unbornness of all aspects, to that which turns all the wheels of Dharma without exception as an antidote practiced by the chief lords of yogic freedom, whose bodies are bound by the true vows of the Buddhas, surrounded by Buddhas, Śrāvakas, etc., I prostrate to that very object which accomplishes that. Having thus made prostrations and praises the preamble, and having summarized any one of the bases, antidotes, and aspects of the Abhisamayālaṅkāra treatise, if it were according to the first view, the effort would be meaningless, because from this Prajñāpāramitā, there would be no basis for treatises on characteristics that are not mentioned. If it were according to the second view, it would also not be understood what antidote this is, because it only summarizes pure objects and does not summarize all afflicted objects. If it were according to the third view, it would also be meaningless because it only summarizes aspects that are without a basis, and therefore there is no meaningful understanding, because nothing at all is said. Would others not think in this way? That is not so. Why? Because Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and unsurpassed Buddhas, in that order, have summarized all realizations with the three kinds of omniscience, and therefore it is summarized by all three views. Thus, in the intermediate Mother of the Conquerors, Subhūti, all-knowingness is that of the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Path-knowingness is that of the Bodhisattvas. All-aspect-knowingness is that of the Tathāgata Arhat Samyaksaṃbuddha. Blessed One, why is all-knowingness that of the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas? Subhūti, all that exists is just this much, whatever internal and external dharmas there are, and these are known by the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, but not by all paths, nor in all aspects, therefore the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas are called all-knowingness.

Venerable Lord, for what reason do Bodhisattvas seek the aspects of the path? Subhuti, Bodhisattvas should generate all the paths, namely the path of the Hearers, the path of the Solitary Realizers, and the path of the Buddhas, and they should know all the paths. They should also perfect these paths, and they should also perform the actions of these paths. They will not directly realize the ultimate limit until they have perfected their aspirations, fully matured sentient beings, and completely purified the Buddha-fields. Therefore, Bodhisattvas should know the aspects of the path. Venerable Lord, for what reason is the omniscience of all aspects that of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha? Subhuti, the Tathagata has understood those aspects, those signs, and those characteristics by which the aspects, signs, and characteristics of the dharmas are thoroughly expressed; therefore, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha, is called the omniscience of all aspects. Similarly, in the concise teachings it is said, "Even those who wish to study in the Hearer's ground..." and so on, and in the extensive teachings it is also extensively taught. Therein, all-knowingness is that which, with respect to forms and so forth, has impermanence and so forth as its support, and its fruit is the abandonment of delusion about self. Path-knowingness is that which necessarily arises from all vehicles, and its support does not directly realize Suchness, and its fruit is that which causes the gathering of sentient beings who have not been gathered, and so forth. All-aspect-knowingness is that which has the unbornness of all dharmas as its support. Its fruit is the uninterrupted benefit of sentient beings reaching the limit of the sphere of space, the realization of the limit of reality, and the abandonment of the very connection by habitual tendencies. Therefore, the Ornament for Clear Realization is that which completely reveals clear realization by gathering together the basis, the antidote, and all aspects. This statement is reasonable. In order to benefit sentient beings who have faith in the extensive, intermediate, and concise teachings of the Venerable Lord, those of inferior intelligence...
