Regarding the nature of the past, etc., of those who have become the state of both with outflows and without outflows, and following the aspects of enlightenment such as giving, the perception of focusing on that very nature is inverted and is an unfavorable aspect, therefore it is said that one cannot truly know the very nature of these. It is also said: Forms and other aggregates are emptiness, phenomena included in the three times, giving and other aspects of enlightenment, the perception of practice is an unfavorable aspect. It is said like that. For Bodhisattvas, the opposite of the meaning as described above is a favorable aspect, such as Sanskrit Romanization: Kauśika, Chinese literal meaning: Kausika) and so on. Because the unfavorable aspect should be abandoned, therefore, by truly following realization, by not focusing on the object of giving, the giver, and the receiver, etc., truly showing other giving, etc., is the essence. Thus, it does not harm oneself, etc., similarly, by the method of truly understanding, giving, etc., also because one abides in oneself, it is not destroyed by the distinction of the inverted perception of focusing on oneself. These refer to focusing on form, etc., as previously mentioned. Showing that very coarse attachment does not contradict the nature of reality, therefore, praise "Excellent, excellent," what is said for the meaning of extremely subtle attachment is "Rabjor therefore," and so on. "If one focuses on signs" means that one manifestly inclines because one focuses on the form body, etc. And how is it said that such is attachment? "Rabjor, as long as there are signs," and so on, is said. The meaning of the occasion is this: because by realizing the absence of self, etc., the three circles are purified, and the definite union of oneself and others with giving, etc., is truly entering, and because all the places of the aggregates of attachment are blocked and should be taken, it is a favorable aspect in every way. Now, contemplating the Thus-Gone One, etc., is

Even though it is an antidote that is the cause of the accumulation of merit, it is not an antidote in all respects because of the nature of subtle attachment. It is said: Giving, etc., has no ego-grasping, others are those who connect with it, now because of preventing the extreme of attachment, there is subtle attachment to kings, etc. It is said. Furthermore, how is it thought that subtle attachment is a conflicting side? Receiving the doubt with "Why is that?", the Blessed One said: Rabyor, attachment arises from characteristics. In order to show that, he said, "If that is so," etc. Because of definitely grasping that "that is this," it should not be made into a characteristic. Also, because it is repeatedly made into an object, it should not be made into an object of focus, this is the difference. That is not seeing, not hearing, not perceiving, and not completely knowing, that is, seeing by looking with eye consciousness is seeing, hearing by listening with ear consciousness is hearing, perceiving because of experiencing with nose, tongue, and body consciousness is perceiving, completely knowing by closely focusing with mind consciousness is not that, each should be applied individually. This itself is a prayer to the Blessed One, etc., with the distinction of knowable and profound knowledge. "Nature" means one's own essence, meaning suchness. "Because it is solitary" means because it is empty of all close focus. "Nature is profound" means that the nature of knowledge itself is unborn by nature, therefore it is profound because it is not the object of hearers, etc. "Because it is naturally pure" and "Because it is naturally solitary" are, in order, synonyms for unchanging, and perfectly accomplished without being inverted, and because it is not perfectly accomplished. It is said: Because the nature of all dharmas is the nature of knowable, it is only emptiness of self-nature, therefore they are profound, therefore focusing in some way is subtle attachment, so it is said to be a conflicting side. It is said: The path of dharma is by nature, because it is solitary, therefore it is profound.
