A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who does not focus will not think, 'I will fully awaken.' 'He will fully awaken.' 'This will fully awaken.' Why is that? Subhuti, it is because when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices in the Perfection of Wisdom, all discriminations are absent. Why is that? Subhuti, the Perfection of Wisdom, which is called non-discrimination, is the fourth increase. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the Perfection of Wisdom is profound for the sake of extreme solitude. It is difficult to see. It is difficult to realize. It is inconceivable. It is not the realm of thought. It is peaceful, subtle, and refined. It is to be realized by the wise through knowledge. Blessed One, if beings listen to, hold, recite, and comprehend this profound Perfection of Wisdom, and diligently apply themselves to it, not understanding other mental and mental factors until they fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, then they are not those who possess roots of virtue with evil consequences. The Blessed One said: Kausika, it is just so. It is just so, if beings listen to, hold, recite, and comprehend this profound Perfection of Wisdom, and diligently apply themselves to it, not understanding other mental and mental factors until they fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, then they are not those who possess roots of virtue with evil consequences. Kausika, what do you think? All the beings in Jambudvipa, however many there are, may all possess the ten paths of virtuous action. May they possess the four concentrations. The four immeasurables. 如果能够完全通达，受持并保任，阅读并完全通达之后，还如实地精进，那么， कौशिका (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思），对于这个善根，之前的善根连百分之一都无法接近，乃至千分之一，百万分之一，千万亿分之一，数量，部分，计数，比喻，因由都无法比拟。然后，一位比丘对帝释天说道： कौशिका (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思），赡部洲的众生，具有十善业道，具有四禅，具有四无量，具有四无色定，具有五神通，所有这些，如果种姓之子或种姓之女，以不散乱的心受持、保任、读诵、完全通达这部甚深般若波罗蜜多，如理作意，并如实精进，直至证得无上正等觉成佛，不分别心和心所之外的其他法，他们都会被压制。说完之后，帝释天对比丘说道：比丘，赡部洲的众生，具有十善业道，具有四禅，具有四无量，具有四无色定，具有五神通，所有这些，连一位发起了具足一切相智之心的菩萨摩诃萨也能压制，更何况受持、保任、读诵、完全通达这部甚深般若波罗蜜多，如理作意，受持并保任，阅读并完全通达之后，还如实地精进呢？更不用说，将会压制包括天、人、阿修罗在内的世间，那位菩萨摩诃萨将会压制并超越包括天、人、阿修罗在内的世间。

If one can fully understand, uphold and maintain, read and fully comprehend, and also diligently practice in accordance with reality, then, Kaushika, compared to this root of virtue, the previous root of virtue cannot even come close to one percent, not even one-thousandth, one-millionth, one-hundred-millionth, in number, part, count, analogy, or cause. Then, a monk said to Indra, the lord of the gods: Kaushika, all the beings in Jambudvipa who possess the ten virtuous paths of action, possess the four dhyanas, possess the four immeasurables, possess the four formless absorptions, and possess the five supernormal cognitions, all of them, if a son or daughter of good family holds, maintains, reads, and fully comprehends this profound Prajnaparamita with an undistracted mind, properly attends to it, and diligently practices in accordance with reality, until they attain unsurpassed complete and perfect enlightenment and become Buddhas, without distinguishing between mind and other mental phenomena, they will be suppressed. After saying this, Indra, the lord of the gods, said to that monk: Monk, all the beings in Jambudvipa who possess the ten virtuous paths of action, possess the four dhyanas, possess the four immeasurables, possess the four formless absorptions, and possess the five supernormal cognitions, even one Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has generated the mind endowed with all-knowingness can suppress them. What need is there to mention those who hold, maintain, read, and fully comprehend this profound Prajnaparamita, properly attend to it, uphold and maintain it, and diligently practice in accordance with reality after reading and fully comprehending it? Needless to say, they will suppress the world including gods, humans, and asuras, and that Bodhisattva Mahasattva will suppress and transcend the world including gods, humans, and asuras.
