It is inexpressible. Subhuti, this is the faultlessness of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva enters faultlessness, and all Samadhis and Samapattis are perfected. That one, even by the power of Samadhi and Samapatti, is not born, let alone being born by attachment, hatred, or delusion and abiding therein, performing actions therein. Having performed those actions, what need is there to say that one will fall into the cycle of the five destinies? That is not the case. Otherwise, abiding in phenomena that are like illusions, one does the benefit of all sentient beings, yet one does not focus on sentient beings or illusions. Because one does not focus on sentient beings and illusions, one completely ripens sentient beings and completely grasps the Buddha-field. Subhuti, in that way, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, having perfected the Perfection of Samadhi, until the turning of the Wheel of Dharma, one turns the Wheel of Non-apprehension, the Wheel of Emptiness, the Wheel of Signlessness, and the Wheel of Wishlessness. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, one completely knows all phenomena as being like dreams. To completely know all phenomena as being like echoes, like mirages, like illusions, like heat haze, like apparitions, is called the signlessness of all phenomena. The moment of mind that realizes the characteristic of realizing in one instant is the third. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, how does one completely know all phenomena as being like dreams, just as they truly are? How does one completely know all phenomena as being like echoes, like mirages, like illusions, like heat haze, like apparitions, just as they truly are?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, in this, Bodhi."

When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, they do not see dreams. The non-seeing of dreams is not seen. They do not hear echoes. The hearing of echoes is not heard. They do not see mirages. The seeing of mirages is not seen. They do not see illusions. The seeing of illusions is not seen. They do not see heat haze. The seeing of heat haze is not seen. They do not see emanations. The seeing of emanations is not seen. Why is that? Because, for ordinary childish beings, dreams are inverted. Echoes are inverted. Mirages are inverted. Illusions are inverted. Heat haze is inverted. Emanations are inverted. Arhats do not see dreams. The seeing of dreams is not seen. Even up to the Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the Tathagata Arhats, perfectly and completely enlightened Buddhas, do not see dreams. The seeing of dreams is not seen. They do not hear echoes. The hearing of echoes is not seen. They do not see mirages. The seeing of mirages is not seen. They do not see illusions. The seeing of illusions is not seen. They do not see heat haze. The seeing of heat haze is not seen. They do not see emanations. The seeing of emanations is not seen. Why is that? Because, due to non-reality, all phenomena are of the nature of non-existence, equal to complete Nirvana. Since all phenomena are not completely established due to non-reality, how could a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, have an attachment to things, or an attachment to complete establishment, or an attachment to reality? That is non-existent. Why is that? If one were to observe that a certain dharma has self-nature, or is completely established, or has become real, then...

Nor will it change into the perfection of wisdom. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva thus practices the perfection of wisdom, there is no attachment to form. There is no attachment to feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. There is no attachment to realms, sources, and dependent origination. There is no attachment to the desire realm. There is no attachment to the form realm. There is no attachment to the formless realm. There is no attachment to the perfection of generosity. There is no attachment to the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom. There is no attachment to inner emptiness. There is no attachment to the emptiness of the non-existence of things. There is no attachment to the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. There is no attachment to the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine sequential abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and the superknowledges. There is no attachment to samadhi and the gateways of dharani. There is no attachment to the powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the separate perfect knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddha. There is no attachment up to all-knowingness. He abides in this perfection of wisdom and completely perfects the first ground. He does not generate desire and attachment to it. Why is that? Because in this way, he does not even perceive that ground, how could he possibly generate desire and attachment to it? He abides in this perfection of wisdom and completely perfects the second ground, the third ground, the fourth ground, the fifth ground, the sixth ground, the seventh ground, the eighth ground, the ninth ground, and the tenth ground, and he does not generate desire and attachment to it. Why is that? Because in this way, he does not even perceive that ground, to it,
