If someone were to write this profound Prajñāpāramitā in one month, they would indeed complete the writing. If they were to write for two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight months, or even a year, they would indeed complete the writing. If they were to teach, hold, recite, chant, properly attend to, and meditate on it for one month, they would indeed meditate on it in that way. If they were to meditate on it for a year, they would indeed meditate on it. Why is that? Because many obstacles arise for the great and precious Raabjor. Raabjor asked: Blessed One, it is wonderful that the evil Māras do not engage in activities that create obstacles to prevent people from inquiring about, teaching, holding, reciting, properly attending to, and meditating on this profound Prajñāpāramitā! The Blessed One replied: Raabjor, it is not that the evil Māras do not engage in activities that create obstacles to prevent people from writing up to meditating on this profound Prajñāpāramitā. Rather, it is that the Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas are unable to be obstructed by Māras when they write, teach, hold, recite, chant, properly attend to, and meditate on this profound Prajñāpāramitā. This is a boundary setting, and they have spoken of this setting. Merit of the Setting. Ah, the great bodhisattva who inquires about the profound Prajñāpāramitā, as well as teaches, upholds, recites, chants, properly contemplates, and cultivates it, the evil one cannot create obstacles. Shariputra, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, in all ten directions, as many Buddhas as there are who abide and protect, that many Buddhas will consider those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and will embrace them. Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who are embraced by those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who inquire about the profound Prajñāpāramitā, as well as teach, uphold, recite, chant, properly contemplate, and cultivate it, by the power of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the evil one cannot create obstacles. Why is that? Shariputra, in all the uninterrupted, countless realms of the ten directions, as many Tathāgatas, Arhats, Samyaksaṃbuddhas as there are who abide and protect, that many Buddhas will also consider the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who inquire about the profound Prajñāpāramitā, as well as uphold, recite, teach, chant, properly contemplate, and cultivate it, this is the Dharma nature, this is the merit of destroying the power of the evil one. Shariputra, a son of good family or a daughter of good family who inquires about the profound Prajñāpāramitā, as well as upholds, recites, teaches, chants, properly contemplates, and cultivates it, they should understand that, by the power of the Buddha, I inquire about the profound Prajñāpāramitā, uphold it, recite it, teach it, chant it, properly contemplate it, and cultivate it. Shariputra asked: Blessed One, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who ask about, uphold, recite, teach, chant, properly direct their mind, and meditate on this profound Perfection of Wisdom, those sons or daughters of good family who truly practice it, in the immeasurable and countless world realms from the eastern direction to the ten directions, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, the immeasurable and countless Buddhas, the Blessed Ones who abide and protect, know them with their wisdom. Blessed One, those sons or daughters of good family are seen with the eye of flesh. The Blessed One said: Shariputra, it is so, it is so.
