Now, one does not fixate on what is called non-conduct. One also does not fixate on what is called neither conduct nor non-conduct. Shariputra, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who conducts himself in this way is said to be diligent in the Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the Perfection of Generosity. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the Perfection of Ethics. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the Perfection of Patience. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the Perfection of Diligence. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the Perfection of Meditation. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the Perfection of Wisdom. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the ground of non-retrogression. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of fully ripening sentient beings. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of fully purifying the Buddha-fields. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the ten powers of the Tathagata. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the four fearlessnesses. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of inner emptiness. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of outer emptiness. He does not fixate on the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of inner and outer emptiness.
