Until the destruction of the earth, one will never be separated from the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Shariputra, endowed with life, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom is close to the All-Knowingness. This is the object and the distinction of the aspect of the intermediate patience. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, while practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, unskilled in means, practices form, he practices signs and does not practice the Perfection of Wisdom. If he practices feeling, he practices signs. If he practices perception, he practices signs. If he practices formations, he practices signs. If he practices consciousness, he practices signs and does not practice the Perfection of Wisdom. If he practices form as permanent or impermanent, he practices signs and does not practice the Perfection of Wisdom. If he practices feeling as permanent or impermanent, he practices signs. If he practices perception as permanent or impermanent, he practices signs. If he practices formations as permanent or impermanent, he practices signs.
