It is a sign. The perfection of generosity is a sign. The perfection of discipline and, the perfection of patience and, the perfection of diligence and, the perfection of meditation and, the perfection of wisdom are signs. Inner emptiness is a sign. Outer emptiness and, inner and outer emptiness are signs. The emptiness of the nature of non-things is a sign. The mindfulnesses are signs. The right abandonments and, the feet of miracles and, the faculties and, the powers and, the seven branches of enlightenment and, The eightfold noble path and, the perfections and, the superknowledges and, the letters and, the ten powers and, the fearlessnesses and, the individual correct knowledges and, the unmixed Buddha dharmas and, emptiness and, signlessness and, wishlessness and, the realm of dharma and, the determination of dharma in dharmata and, the ultimate reality are signs, this is said to be affliction. If the perfection of wisdom is also taken as a sign, then the wandering garland will not gain faith in the omniscient wisdom in this teaching. What is faith? That is, to have faith in the perfection of wisdom, as well as realization, as well as belief, as well as attention, as well as measurement, as well as observation, that is not in the manner of signs, nor in the manner of signlessness, thus it is taken as signless. Thus, there is no complete grasping of signs and signlessness, therefore it is said that it is not complete grasping. Here, the wandering garland, following faith, is more convinced and enters with superficial knowledge. After entering, form is not completely grasped, feeling and, perception and, formations, etc., consciousness is also not completely grasped. Why is that? That is, in order not to attend to signs, therefore he does not completely grasp any dharma among the dharmas that are empty of their own nature. Why is that? That is, therefore he also

It was not truly seen. For that knowledge, the external attainment and realization were also not truly seen. For that knowledge, the internal and external attainment and realization were also not truly seen. For that knowledge, the attainment and realization different from it were also not truly seen. What is the reason for that? Because, in this way, whatever dharma he knows, or will know, or knows by means of, that also was not truly seen. What is the reason for that? Because, in this way, he did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal form. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal feeling. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal perception. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal formations. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal consciousness. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the external form. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the external feeling, and the external perception, and the external formations, and that knowledge as being the external consciousness. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal and external form. He did not truly see that knowledge as being the internal and external feeling, and the internal and external perception, and the internal and external formations, and that knowledge as being the internal and external consciousness. Because of the emptiness of internal and external, he did not truly see that knowledge as being different from form. He did not truly see that knowledge as being different from feeling, and perception, and formations, and that knowledge as being different from consciousness. The wanderer Malla developed faith in this aspect of abiding. Having developed faith in this, following faith, in order to not fixate on all dharmas, taking the nature of reality as the measure, he entered into the wisdom of all-knowingness. Having developed faith in this way, in order to not focus on signs, he did not grasp any dharma at all. Since all dharmas are neither to be grasped nor abandoned, what is there to take?
