What is the desire realm, what is the form realm, what is the formless realm, what is inner emptiness, what is outer emptiness, what is inner-outer emptiness, what is the emptiness of the nature of non-things, what is samadhi, what is the gate of dharani, what are the ten powers of the Tathagata, what are the four fearlessnesses, what are the four analytical knowledges, what is great loving-kindness, what is great compassion, what are the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, what is the Dharma taught by the Tathagata, what is the Vinaya, what is the Dharma realm, what is suchness, what is the ultimate reality, what is the inconceivable realm, what is the Nirvana realm—all these dharmas are neither existent nor non-existent, formless, invisible, unimpeded, of one characteristic, that is, without characteristics. Subhuti, in this way, you also expound the Great Vehicle in accordance with the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because the Great Vehicle and the Perfection of Wisdom are not separate. Therefore, the Great Vehicle and the Perfection of Wisdom are non-dual and indivisible. The Great Vehicle and the Perfection of Dhyana, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Morality, and the Perfection of Generosity are also not separate. Therefore, the Great Vehicle and the Perfection of Generosity are also non-dual and indivisible. The Great Vehicle and the Four Mindfulnesses are also not separate. Therefore, the Great Vehicle and the Four Mindfulnesses are also non-dual and indivisible. The Great Vehicle and the Four Right Exertions, the Feet of Miraculous Power, the Faculties, the Powers, the Limbs of Enlightenment, and the Eightfold Noble Path are also not separate. Therefore,

Thus, the Great Vehicle and the Right Abandoning, the Magical Foot, the Faculties, the Powers, the Limbs of Enlightenment, and the Noble Eightfold Path are also non-dual, and cannot be made into two. The Great Vehicle, in relation to other meditations, the immeasurables, and the formless attainments, there is nothing to be called 'other.' Thus, the Great Vehicle and the formless attainments are non-dual, and cannot be made into two. The Great Vehicle, in relation to other Tathagata's Ten Powers, Fearlessnesses, Individual Perfect Knowledge, the Eighteen Unshared Qualities of a Buddha, and even up to the Realm of Nirvana, there is nothing to be called 'other.' Thus, the Great Vehicle, the Unshared Qualities of a Buddha, and the Realm of Nirvana are also non-dual, and cannot be made into two. Subhuti, in this way, teaching the Great Vehicle becomes teaching the Perfection of Wisdom. Teaching the Perfection of Wisdom becomes teaching the Great Vehicle, which is the definite arising of attainment. Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, in this way, a Bodhisattva does not focus on the past limit. A Bodhisattva does not focus on the future limit. A Bodhisattva does not focus on the middle, because of the pervasiveness and boundlessness of form, one should know that the Bodhisattva is pervasive and boundless. Because feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are pervasive and boundless, one should know that the Bodhisattva is pervasive and boundless. However, there is no such thing as form being the activity of a Bodhisattva, and it is not focused upon. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness being the activity of a Bodhisattva, there is no such thing, and it is not focused upon. Blessed One, since I have not truly seen and do not focus on all Bodhisattvas in all ways, in all aspects, and in all things, which Bodhisattva should I instruct and teach in which Perfection of Wisdom? Blessed One, what is called a Bodhisattva is merely a name.

Having done that. Blessed One, if I say "I, I," but "I" does not truly exist. Blessed One, similarly, if I say "Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva," but the Bodhisattva does not truly exist. Therefore, in these dharmas that lack inherent existence, where can one see a form that truly exists? Where can one see a feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness that truly exist? Blessed One, whatever does not truly exist is not form. Whatever does not truly exist is not feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. Blessed One, since it is so, how can one instruct and teach the Perfection of Wisdom to something that does not truly exist? Or, apart from something that does not truly exist, is there a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who will practice towards enlightenment that can be observed? If, when teaching in this way, the mind of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not shrink back, does not completely shrink back, does not regret, is not afraid, and does not become frightened, then that Bodhisattva Mahasattva is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Then, the venerable Shariputra said this to the venerable Subhuti. Venerable Subhuti, why is it that a Bodhisattva Mahasattva has nothing to observe in the past extreme? Nothing to observe in the future extreme? Nothing to observe in the middle? Venerable Subhuti, why? Because form is completely limitless, therefore the Bodhisattva should be known as completely limitless. Because feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are completely limitless, therefore the Bodhisattva should be known as completely limitless. Venerable Subhuti, why? Because the so-called form Bodhisattva, such a thing does not exist and cannot be observed. Because the so-called feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness Bodhisattva, such a thing does not exist and cannot be observed. Venerable Subhuti, why? Because thus, all the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas in all
