One does not conceptually engage with what is called serenity and what is called non-serenity. One does not conceptually engage with what is called the dhyanas, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the superknowledges, the powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas as being permanent or impermanent. One does not conceptually engage with what is called happiness and what is called suffering. One does not conceptually engage with what is called self and what is called no-self. One does not conceptually engage with what is called peace and what is called non-peace. One does not conceptually engage with what is called emptiness and what is called non-emptiness. One does not conceptually engage with what is called having signs and what is called being signless. One does not conceptually engage with what is called having aspirations and what is called being without aspirations. In this way, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not conceptually engage with these dharmas in the manner of conceptual engagement. He said: "Subhuti, why do you say that whatever is the unarisenness of form is not form? Whatever is the unarisenness of feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness is not consciousness?
