Me. The feeling born from the contact of tongue and taste, and the consciousness of the tongue, whether it is pleasant, painful, or neither pleasant nor painful, that is, neither samsara nor nirvana, is not truly seen. The feeling born from the contact of body and tangible objects, and the consciousness of the body, whether it is pleasant, painful, or neither pleasant nor painful, that is also not truly seen as permanent or impermanent. Similarly, it is not truly seen as pleasant or painful. It is not truly seen as self or no-self. It is not truly seen as peaceful or unpeaceful. It is not truly seen as empty or not empty. It is not truly seen as having signs or being without signs. It is not truly seen as having aspirations or being without aspirations. It is not truly seen as conditioned or unconditioned. It is not truly seen as birth or non-birth. It is not truly seen as cessation or non-cessation. It is not truly seen as secluded or not secluded. It is not truly seen as virtuous or non-virtuous. It is not truly seen as with faults or without faults. It is not truly seen as with outflows or without outflows. It is not truly seen as with afflictions or without afflictions. It is not truly seen as worldly or beyond worldly. It is not truly seen as completely afflicted or completely purified.

When a great Bodhisattva engages in the Prajñāpāramitā, they should not truly observe the Prajñāpāramitā itself, the Bodhisattva, or the name of the Bodhisattva in either the conditioned or unconditioned realm. Why is that? Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva engages in the Prajñāpāramitā, they do not conceive or discriminate about any of those dharmas. Abiding in the non-discriminating dharma, they cultivate the four mindfulnesses, and while engaging in the Prajñāpāramitā, they should not truly observe even the Prajñāpāramitā itself, except for keeping in mind the all-knowingness. They should not truly observe the name of the Prajñāpāramitā either. They should not truly observe the Bodhisattva either. They should not truly observe the name of the Bodhisattva either. Similarly, while cultivating and engaging in the Prajñāpāramitā, they should not truly observe the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the path, the perfections, the powers of the Tathāgata, the fearlessnesses, the separate correct knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. They should not truly observe the Prajñāpāramitā itself either. They should not truly observe the name of the Prajñāpāramitā either. They should not truly observe the Bodhisattva either. They should not truly observe the name of the Bodhisattva either. This is called following the knowledge of suffering. Why is that? When a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva engages in the Prajñāpāramitā, they thoroughly understand the nature of dharmas. The nature of dharmas is neither defiled nor purified. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva engages in the Prajñāpāramitā, they should always comprehend the dharmas that possess nominal conventions. This is called obtaining the forbearance of knowledge of dharma in the origin.
