Those who desire to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment should abide in the perfection of wisdom. Bodhisattvas, great beings, abiding in the perfection of wisdom, will perfect the practice of the perfection of generosity, as has been explained above. The Samadhi of the Lion's Arising is also naturally embraced, and the yogi of the path of seeing should repeatedly practice it, as stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, how does a Bodhisattva, a great being, abiding in the perfection of wisdom, fully uphold the perfection of meditative concentration?'" This and other points have been explained. The path of relying on meditation is also taught in the Sutra: "Having thus distinguished the Samadhi of the Lion's Arising, one enters into the transcendent Samadhi," and so on. Among the two grasping conceptions to be abandoned by the path of seeing, the first is the conception of the existence of a person as a substance, as stated at the beginning of the sixty-third chapter of the Sutra: "Subhuti, for example, the orb of the sun and the orb of the moon illuminate the four continents, and move and revolve in harmony with the four continents," and so on. This is further divided into nine parts. First, grasping and liberation as if they were illusions, as stated in the Sutra: "Below, asked, 'Bhagavan, which dharmas are not grasped or abandoned by the perfection of wisdom?' The Buddha replied, 'Subhuti, the perfection of wisdom does not grasp or abandon form,'" and so on. Second, not attending to reality as it is, but attending to it, as stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, how is form not grasped or abandoned?' The Buddha replied, 'Subhuti, that which does not attend to form, and does not attend to it until enlightenment, is not attending to form,'" and so on. Third, the three realms of the nature of phenomena are all closely related, as stated in the Sutra: "Asked, 'Bhagavan, why is it that if one does not attend to form in this way, and does not attend to it until enlightenment, one will attain omniscience?'" and so on. Fourth, emptiness

Not abiding in that itself, abiding is also taught in the Sutra. Petition: "Venerable One, where does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way not abide?" and so on. Fifth, not clinging to objects, and also clinging to all dharmas, as taught in the Sutra. Petition: "Venerable One, why does one not abide in form, and not abide even in Bodhi?" and so on. Sixth, because there is no substance, all dharmas are imputed, as taught in the Sutra. Why is that? Because one does not truly see the dharma to which one should cling or abide. Seventh, knowing the unattachment of Suchness, the attachment that precedes clinging is also taught in the Sutra. Subhuti, thus a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom in a way that is without clinging. Eighth, the antidote to meditating on equality is the antidote to the antidote itself, as taught in the Sutra. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva thinks, "Whoever practices in this way is meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom," and so on. Ninth, not truly knowing the Perfection of Wisdom, there is also an obstacle to going as one wishes, as taught in the Sutra. If one clings to a dharma that is not completely grasped in that way, then a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is separated from the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on. The second of the discriminations of clinging, clinging to a person as imputed, the first of nine aspects, not truly emerging for the sake of the Hearers and so on who seek emergence, as taught in the Sutra. Is form permanent? Or impermanent? Is it happiness? Or suffering? Is it self? Or selfless? Is it peaceful? Or unpeaceful? Is it empty? Or not empty? Is it secluded? Or not secluded? There is no clinging to such things, and so on. Second, because there is no path that one desires, clinging to another path as not a path, as taught in the Sutra. Subhuti, for example, a charioteer rides a chariot with four horses and travels on a level road, and so on. Third, cause and effect

Furthermore, regarding the arising and ceasing with the nature of conventional truth, the sutra also says: If the very nature of abiding in the Dharma is taken as the measure, then this Prajnaparamita does not generate or eliminate any Dharma. Fourth, with uninterruptedness and the very appearance of oneness, all things are neither possessed nor not possessed, the sutra also says: Asked: Blessed One, how should Bodhisattva Mahasattvas strive in the six perfections? The Buddha said: Subhuti, here, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas should contemplate in this way, that form is neither possessed nor not possessed. Fifth, like a bird abiding in the sky, abiding in form and so on, the sutra also says: Subhuti, furthermore, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas should not strive to abide in form. Sixth, through generating Bodhicitta and other means, causing fear to the Hearer and other lineages, the sutra also says: Subhuti, therefore, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas should not rely on others to go. Seventh, since there is no such superior Dharma, there is no desire, the sutra also says: Asked: Blessed One, should one study Prajnaparamita with Prajnaparamita? Eighth, relying on the ultimate truth, there is no cause, the sutra also says: Subhuti, therefore, whether it is a person of the Hearer Vehicle, a person of the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, or a person of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, they should all study this Prajnaparamita. Ninth, because of extremely habituating miserliness, demons and others will outwardly refute things, clinging to the object of focus and appearing as real, the sutra also says: Subhuti, for example, an archer who is skilled in archery, holding a bow, is difficult to be defeated by enemies who refute. The path of meditation. Regarding the sixth, which is explained with eight meanings as reaching the peak, the nature of the path of meditation has been explained above through the Samadhi of Sudden Transcendence.
