and so on, were shown. Fifteenth, it increases by obtaining all perfections, as the sutra also says: Why is that? Because, Subhuti! A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who studies the Prajnaparamita, there is nothing that he should obtain that he does not obtain. And so on, were shown. Sixteenth, it increases by being close to perfect enlightenment, as the sutra also says: Subhuti! A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who studies in this way is close to all-knowingness. And so on, were shown. Explanation. In the peak, the third of the eight aspects of explanation is also explained in the sutra: From the beginning of the fifty-eighth chapter, then the Lord of the Gods, Indra, thought to himself: For this Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, the perfection of generosity and so on, were shown. Mind abiding. In the peak, the fourth of the eight aspects of explanation is mind abiding, as the sutra also says: Blessed One! Any son or daughter of good family who rejoices in the generation of Bodhicitta by Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have newly entered the vehicle, and so on, were shown. These four meanings correspond to the four factors of definitive liberation and are combined in order. The Path of Seeing. In the peak, the fifth of the eight aspects of explanation is that there are two conceptions to be grasped on the path of seeing: conception of entering and conception of withdrawing. There are also two conceptions of grasping: grasping the person as real and grasping the imputed as existent. Thus, each of the four is divided into nine, and from the first of the nine conceptions, the nature that is not realized due to remoteness, the sutra also says: Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One! How can a mind like an illusion realize the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? And so on, were shown. Second, entering the irreversible ground, being determined as the lineage of the Buddha, the sutra also says: Subhuti reported: Blessed One! The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is practicing profound meaning. And so on, were shown. Third

By realizing phenomena as being like illusions, one can perfectly accomplish the path of seeing and other correct paths, as it is said in the sutra: "Bhagavan, for example, an illusory person might think, 'The illusion is far from me, and the magician is close to me,'" and so on. Fourth, by knowing that phenomena are merely appearances, one will not be confused about the object of knowledge, as it is said in the sutra: "Bhagavan, for example, an image does not think, 'By what cause does the image arise? That is close to me. If the image does not arise in the mirror and water, then it is far from me,'" and so on. Fifth, if one first sees merits and faults, then it contradicts acceptance and rejection, and the antidote is also the same, as it is said in the sutra: "Bhagavan, in the Perfection of Wisdom, there is neither lovable nor unlovable." and so on. Sixth, by being free from all defilements, one can realize oneself, as it is said in the sutra: "O venerable Shariputra, these sentient beings manifest the actions of body, speech, and mind that arise from perversion. From that basis, they grasp and realize the ripening of karma that arises from the root of desire." and so on. Seventh, by being inferior and not vast, it prolongs the ground of the Hearers and so on, as it is said in the sutra: "Then, in the desire realm and the form realm, many sons of the gods thought, '...'" and so on. Eighth, by creating manifestations in accordance with one's thoughts, one can also accomplish the benefit and welfare of sentient beings, as it is said in the sutra: "Then the venerable Subhuti said to those sons of the gods: 'O sons of the gods, by what realization do Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas attain the ground of Hearers?'" and so on. Ninth, by the power of skillful means, one can establish all sentient beings in Nirvana, as it is said in the sutra: "If a sentient being thinks, 'I shall tame all sentient beings,' then he thinks, 'I shall tame the sky.'" and so on. The second of what is to be grasped, the support for reversing, is also divided into nine types. The first, by falling into either Samsara or Nirvana, is inferior wisdom, as it is said in the sutra: "Why is that?"
