It is shown by "having obtained a human body" and so on. Secondly, in particular, it increases by attending to the Prajñāpāramitā, and the sūtra also says: "Subhūti, for example, someone who has never obtained a precious jewel before, obtains a precious jewel at another time," which is shown by "father" and so on. Thirdly, it increases by obtaining forbearance of non-arising dharmas, and the sūtra also says: "Having said this, the venerable Subhūti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, all mental activities are clear from being separated from their own nature, and all beliefs are empty by nature," which is shown below. Fourthly, it increases by not focusing on the Dharma to be awakened and the Dharma that leads to awakening, and the sūtra also says: "Having said this, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhūti: Subhūti, what do you think? Do you think that you have truly seen the Dharma that was prophesied to be the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment?" and so on. Fifthly, it increases by obtaining the ten virtues and so on, and absorption in form and formlessness, and the sūtra also says, at the beginning of the fifty-sixth chapter: "Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, this Prajñāpāramitā is profound and difficult to see," which is shown below. Sixth, all the hosts of gods come near, and seventh, all the demons are subdued, and the inconsistencies are based on the sutra. Eighth, increasing merit through equality in all things, as stated in the sutra: "If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices this profound Prajnaparamita, then the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, will also rejoice." This is shown below. Ninth, increasing the purity of learning through skillful means in all ways, as stated in the sutra: "Then, the Venerable Ananda thought to himself, 'Does this Indra, Lord of the Gods, teach the Prajnaparamita through his own wisdom? Or does he teach it through the power of the Buddha?'" This is shown and so on. Tenth, increasing by becoming a Buddha-nature, as stated in the sutra: From the head of the fifty-seventh chapter: "Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One, 'Blessed One, what equality should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva train in? What is the equality of the Bodhisattvas-Mahasattvas?'" This is shown and so on. Eleventh, increasing by the reason for obtaining the fruit of Buddhahood itself, as stated in the sutra: "When this was said, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One, 'Blessed One, if all dharmas are completely pure by nature, then what dharma will a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva realize as completely pure?'" This is shown and so on. Twelfth, increasing by not generating minds that are contrary to the Paramitas, as stated in the sutra: "Subhuti, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices Prajnaparamita, he does not generate a mind of miserliness." This is shown and so on. Thirteenth, increasing by not generating a mind that understands being endowed with form, etc., as stated in the sutra: "He does not generate a mind endowed with form. He does not generate a mind endowed with feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness." This is shown and so on. Fourteenth, increasing by gathering all the Paramitas, as stated in the sutra: "Subhuti, thus, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices this profound Prajnaparamita gathers all the Paramitas."
