The following explains what the limbs of enlightenment are. Twentieth, the connection between karma and its result will not be in vain, from the beginning of the seventy-ninth chapter of the Sutra: Thereafter, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if these dharmas are the dharmas of a Bodhisattva, then Blessed One, what are the dharmas of the Buddha? etc. Twenty-first, establishing the realization of all things as they are, from the Sutra: After saying this, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if all dharmas are empty of their own nature, then Blessed One, how can a Bodhisattva Mahasattva realize unexcelled perfect enlightenment and become a Buddha, and then completely liberate sentient beings from the cycle of the five realms? etc. Otherwise, with a mind inclined towards enlightenment, one truly understands all dharmas as they are, etc. Twenty-second, establishing the abandonment of all perversions, from the beginning of the eightieth chapter of the Sutra: Thereafter, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if all dharmas are of the nature of non-existence, then these dharmas are not made by the Buddha, etc. Twenty-third, establishing the wisdom that abandons the rootless perversions, from the Sutra: After saying this, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, where do foolish ordinary people abide that they become attached to things as real, or things arise, or arise as suchness, or non-inverted suchness, etc.? Twenty-fourth, establishing the manifestation of a Bodhisattva with the nature of being completely pure by nature, from the beginning of the eighty-first chapter of the Sutra: Thereafter, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, there is no affliction in seeing reality.
