The field is pure. This is what is taught. The world of sentient beings, such as hunger, is the impurity of the body. Its antidote is the purity of the enjoyment of gods, etc., which is closely gathered. The vessel world is to say that this great earth has trees and thorns, etc., which are impure. Its antidote is the purity of being as flat as the palm of the hand, etc., which is gathered. This is a brief summary of the pure Buddha land. In detail, in the sutra, whenever one intends to purify the Buddha land, seeing sentient beings hungry, etc., one's own Buddha land becomes like the enjoyment of the gods of the heavenly realms, etc., and thus practicing to the other shore, one perfects the perfection of generosity. To this, close enjoyment is food, etc. Complete enjoyment is the decoration of jewels and pearls, etc. Similarly, abstaining from killing, etc., and its fruit, gathered by returning from it, is the perfection of the perfection of morality. Gathering by returning from harmful thoughts is the perfection of the perfection of patience. Gathering by returning from laziness is the perfection of the perfection of diligence. Gathering by returning from the five obscurations and excluding the first dhyana, etc., is the perfection of the perfection of meditation. Among them, the five obscurations are desire, harmful thoughts, sleep, drowsiness, agitation, regret, and doubt. Gathering by returning from wrong wisdom is the perfection of the perfection of wisdom. At all times, approaching omniscience, and in one's own Buddha land, sentient beings are wrongly determined, not knowing the three uncertain aggregates, not knowing the sound of the three lower realms, and having trees and thorns, etc., and this great earth is made of the nature of earth, gathered by returning from it, similarly, gathering by returning from completely clinging to self, returning from completely clinging to the four castes. Returning from these is...

That is to say, in any case, in my Buddha-field, even the names of the four castes are impossible to exist, this is what is to be explained. Therefore, the rules of caste are meaningless, because it is said "This is a Brahmin" and "This is a commoner" and so on. For sentient beings, superior, intermediate, and inferior, good complexion and bad complexion, except for these two dharmas, being controlled by others, and other than mindfulness, and other than the three birthplaces separated by going, and separated from supernormal knowledge, and butchers and other leakages, and not having light, and day, night, sun, moon, and so on, and short life, and not having the marks of a great man, and not having the roots of virtue capable of serving and honoring the Buddha, and being liberated from all the diseases arising from the imbalanced elements, in short, the opposite of these is: wind, bile, phlegm, and diseases completely entangled by mixing, those that have arisen and have not yet arisen, eliminate them in order, and not arise, and briefly gather with conforming treatments, and attachment and so on, and faith in the vehicles of the hearers and so on, and liberation from the arrogant, therefore, gather with those perfect aspects in their respective Buddha-fields, entering into it is practicing the six perfections, and also approaching omniscience, and life, and the Sangha of monks is limited, and conversely, it is generating the mind to make these limitless, and for all the world realms as many as the Buddha-fields of the Ganges sands, generating the mind to make all the Buddha-fields into one Buddha-field, thereby attaining unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and with the intention of fully enjoying the realm of sentient beings as limitless as the sky, where neither samsara nor nirvana exists, thereby perfecting the six perfections and approaching omniscience.

The goddess Ganga thus vowed that, with the root of virtue of purifying all Buddha-fields, she was prophesied to attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. The retinue believed that, as stated, they would attain the purification of all Buddha-fields, becoming the root by the meaning of the root, as it was said. The explanation of the pure Buddha-field is complete. The Explanation of Skillful Means After demonstrating the complete purity of the Buddha-field, the skillful means will be discussed. In this regard, first, its object and combination, that is: What should be discussed? In this regard, the object of skillful means is, as it is said, in that place, as spoken by skillful means, starting from showing the various combinations of their respective objects, from emptiness, etc., to familiarizing oneself with all aspects of enlightenment, through practice, meditative absorption, meditation, and complete familiarity, the object of skillful means is shown by meaning, as it is shown. As it is said in the sutra: "Bhagavan, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom familiarize himself with emptiness?" Starting from this question, "How should one enter into meditative absorption through complete familiarity with emptiness?" and so on, as it is spoken. The combination of skillful means is to contemplate form as emptiness, to discriminate and think separately, which is to approach skillful means, as it is shown. As it is said in the sutra: "Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva discriminates and thinks separately with emptiness that possesses all perfections," starting from this question, "knowing that it is not the time for practice, meditation, and realization," as it is spoken. In this regard, emptiness that possesses all perfections is not separate from generosity, not separate from ethics, not separate from patience, etc., one should take the Ratnakuta Sutra. Because skillful means has ten aspects, therefore: "Transcending all that is signified, not abiding, likewise power, and the nature of being uncommon, non-attachment and non-objectification, signlessness, aspiration, exhaustion, its characteristics and immeasurability, skillful means has ten aspects."
