The meaning of not needing is that if one masters the path of a fully enlightened Buddha, then the language of yakshas, etc., can be understood. It is shown that the meaning of what the venerable Subhuti said is incomprehensible. Therefore, yakshas, etc., understand their own language, which is the sound of yakshas. The general is the word, and the meaning that one wants to express completely is language, which is the meaning of the word. Whoever asks with whatever door of speech, answering that is speaking. Like this, it can be understood, but the venerable Subhuti explaining the Prajnaparamita, as well as speaking, teaching, distinguishing, clarifying, and definitively showing, that is incomprehensible. Among them, teaching after requesting is explaining. Answering after being asked is speaking. These two are explaining by mastering the ignorance of the beings to be tamed, which is teaching. Deliberately teaching by mastering the negligent ones is called distinguishing. That is, starting from "Sons of the gods, not even a single letter is spoken," prohibiting teaching and listening, therefore the Prajnaparamita and the perfectly complete enlightenment are without letters. Using metaphors such as snakes, dreams, echoes, and illusions to show that there are no letters, and that there is no hearing and understanding, because that is how it is. If teaching the Dharma and expressing it in words do not exist, then why? Because it is the cause of obtaining the fruit of teaching the Dharma, and also speaking in the words of teaching the Dharma will become a great distraction, and due to distraction, the mind stream will become extremely disturbed. Considering this, therefore, the Buddha Bhagavan, when he was a Bodhisattva in the past, made this aspiration: After I attain Buddhahood, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, even without speaking, I can teach the Dharma and be able to perfect the benefit of sentient beings. To show that even without speaking, it is possible to teach the meaning, it is said: Whatever to whatever meaning, however, however one hears it, in it there is meaning even without sound, thus, thus it appears.

It is like this. Regarding this, profound wisdom is like this. As it is said in the sutra: "How wonderful! The abiding one, endowed with wealth, is the one who makes things clear, showing the extremely profound even in the face of the profound, and entering into the extremely subtle even in the face of the subtle." It is said like this. Regarding this, the abiding one, endowed with wealth, cannot understand the meaning of what is closely shown, and it is profound. It is extremely profound because it is attained without uttering a single word. Similarly, in other sutras, it is said that by realizing the path of the ten virtuous actions oneself, and by understanding the profound dependent arising, one can perfect the Pratyekabuddha vehicle. Because one focuses on the benefit of oneself alone and becomes enlightened oneself, one is called a Pratyekabuddha. It is not a fault of becoming a Shravaka, because it does not rely on other teachings. If it is said that one becomes a fully enlightened Buddha, it is not so, because one benefits sentient beings with all-knowing wisdom, so one is superior to them. The Pratyekabuddhas are those who become enlightened themselves as much as they realize in any way. Furthermore, what they realize is, how much do they realize? Because the grasping of the object is diminished, and because the grasping subject is not abandoned, the path that is like the horn of a rhinoceros, one should know that it is the true collection. It is taught in this way, because they, by the power of discriminating the object, from the aggregates, elements, and sources, up to the all-knowing wisdom, the vast nature is profound, and because they prevent the subtle, it is shown that the Buddha has abandoned one aspect of the obscuration of knowledge, so it is indirectly shown that they are superior to the Shravakas. This is not teaching the Dharma of speech, it is spoken in terms of the independence of the Pratyekabuddha, and it is explained up to the point where Bodhi is not established, because they have abandoned the discrimination of grasping the object. The reason why it is said that there are no letters established is because of their own realization. Some wish to abide in the fruit of stream-entry, and some wish to attain self-Bodhi, but this patience...
